Stopping with Goldenscale, she set Nathan down before returning to her side. "Just stick to a simple barrier for now.. As you learn to manipulate your own mind, you'll learn better  way to filter out the auras. For now, focus on defending your mind," she said, "Everyone's mind is different so one must learn how to manipulate it on their own. I can give advice, but you'll have to figure out how to aply to yyour own mind."

She finally managed to make a very simple barrier, but it hurt her to be pushing away such cries and call.  She finally just curled.up on the ground and covered herself in her wings.  "Just go ahead with Nathan..." she stammered quietly.  "I- I need to calm down more and I don't want to hold anyone up..."

"I can handle myself. I can get home from here," Nathan said, before starting after the group to catch up.

With a nod, Ahnah turned back to Goldenscale. "I'll be here if you need me. I'll always be here," she said, curling up beside Goldenscale, "Closing one's mind for the first time is always hard, particularly for those who have always left their minds open like you. I had to learn how to close my mind when I left my birthplace, and it was not something I enjoyed. It hurt, but it was needed."

She whimpered, and cuddled closer to Ahnah.  "It does hurt, it hurts a lot." she said.  Finally she got back up with a frown and a sigh.  "We should be getting back to the twn..." she said quietly.

"That would be a good idea. The auras of tipical humans are less invasive the most other beings. It'll put less strain on you. I know you'll make it through this, just ake small steps at a time. It's better to learn this in a safe place where you wont be attacked, physically or mentally," she said, covering Goldenscale with her wings,"Take your time as you need it. We have a full year's worth of time, and we can force ourselves to travel faster when needed."

She purred.  She felt safe with Ahnah, but she also.felt as though she was a burden.  "Want to have a race?" she asked her, a smile on her face.  It would be a good idea to get her mind off of this, and racing was something that could work.

"If that is what you want to do, I have no problems with it," Ahnah smilled, stepping back from Goldenscale, "You can call the start this time."

"Okay then." she said as hse got up and got into her running pose.  "Ready, Set, GO!" she yelled a she bolted off towards the group.

With a playful chirp, Ahnah bolted after Goldenscale, only slowing down to pick up Nathan before trying to catch up. After a few moments, she was directly behind Goldenscale, almost able to nip at her tail.

Goldenscale gave off a playful roar and tried to run faster, succeeding.  Though it wasn't much faster, it was fast enough to slowly get haead of Ahnah more.

Crawling up to Ahnah's head, Nathan focused on Goldenscale. After a moment, he let out a feline like roar as he launched himself forward to land on Goldenscsale's back with a chearful laugh.

Watching nathan for a moment, Ahnah smiled before letting out her own raod as she sped up, leaving patches of ice wherever she stepped as she caught back up. "Neet little trick you got there nathan," she called forward, watching the child adjust himself so as to not drop the hatchling.

Golednscale cried out in surprise as Nathan hit her back.  She stumbled and one of her front legs bent at an odd angle as she quickly tried to sraighten herself out.  She was going faster than usual and that had caused her to loose her focus.  She did sraighten out and continued running, though it took her a while again because Nathan was on her back and because pain shot up her arm, but she pushed it aside and continued running.  "Natahn, can you spot Ahnah?" she asked him and she sped up.

"Yes, she's just to your right," nathan said, crawling up where he could see past Goldenscale's wings, "Looks like she's preparing a quick healing spell."

When Nathan finished speaking, Ahnah fired a green mist at Goldenscale that circled the injured leg as it repaired the damage. "Give it a moment, and you'll be without injury without trouble," she said before seeing the gates of the town rising ove rthe hill, "Looks like we're almost there before everyone else too."
