"Of course." she said with a smile.  Once she saw everyone leaving, she whimpered and paced at the barrier before going through.  She then caught up with the geoup, taking a look back at the forest before continuing.

"Don't think of it as leaving home. Think of it as heading out to find grand things. We'll be returning afer all," Ahnah said, surprising Nathan by lifting him and placing him on her back. "I know it's hard to leave, but remember why you're laeving," she said, placing a wing on Goldenscale's back.

She sighed.  "I guess..." she said quietly.  "I know that forest inside and out and I can communicate with them freely.  I'm not sure that other nature beings might approve of that." she said.  "And there's the spirits...  they are everywhere, and they give me headaches because of how many there are...."  She shuddered at the thought.

"To be so in tume with nature is something all spirits of nature respect, be you mortal or otherwise. We respect those who are so close to the world they live on," Shadowbinder said, pulling heself out of Goldenscale's shadow and taking on her shape in doing so, "Some may envy you for your connection, but the respect is still there. it is through people like you that the belief in natureis spread. If it puts you at ease, Gladekeeper has decided to watch over this forest in your absence."

Watching Shadowbinder, Ahnah stepped away to give the spirit room to move.

Out of respect, Goldenscale bowed to the Shadowbinder when she appeared.  "It puts me at ease greatly to know that those I trust will be taking care of it.  It was that same forest that has taught me and acted as parents of sort, and I am very fond of the forest." she said with a smile.

"Once the Shade is dealt with, we plan on reastablishing our homes. Gladekeeper has plans on setting hers up in this forest unless you have a problem with that. I would suggest find some history book about us to get a better view of what that would mean," Shadowbinder said, producing a rather old looking book and handing it to Goldenscale, "It will also give you better insight as to what our champions should represent. If we could find them ourselves, we would, but we must abide by Kyne's word. As for the forest, Gladekeeper will take good care of it, especially since she is the spirit of plants, or the physical manefestation of nature. She will treat it as if it was herself."

Goldenscale hugged the book to her chest.  "Thank you, Shadowbinder.  Twll Gladekeeper thank you as well for lofted." she said with another alight bow.  She was smiling.  "I will start reading it as soon as possible."

"I'll be sure to tell her. If you ever wish to speak with any of use elemental spirits, just find the element we represent and call out to us. The only two you'll have trouble do that with are Arcanist and Plaguebringer for obvious reasons," Shadowbinder said, starting to sink back into Goldenscale's shadow, "Well, it is best if you three catch up with the humans. They are waiting for you."

She bowed once more.  "Thank you, Shadowbinder for this gift.  I will keep you all in mind as I travel." she said with a smile.  She then began to walk.  "Come on, let's catch up." she said as she began to run.

"Alight, hold on you two," Ahnah said, giving nathan  a moment to brace himself with the hatchling before running after Goldenscale, catching up after a few moments. "So, which direction do you think we should go once we're ready to head out," she asked, looking back to see the throdama stareting to leave the forest as well, "Knowing which way we'll be heading will let us know what we need to stock up on."

She closed her eyes as she walked, soon opening them.  "I don't know.  I'm cathcing onto too many auras to be able to tell." she said, the second sentence much more quietly than the first.  She told the truth, and she didn't like it.

"Well, it doesn't really matter which way we go as we're just starting out on our jouney. As we go, our target objectives will become fewer and direction will matter more, but for now they're in all directions. Knowing we have to watch for both elemental runs and champions means there's at least twenty things we'll need to watch for, not taking what we've already got," she said, slowing down as they caught up with the group, "For now, just go with what feels more comfortable."

Goldenscale sighed in exhasperation.  "Nothing feels comfortable.  To tell you the truth, I feel very vunerable and uncomfortable out here and I feel as though something is going to come and harm me again." she said.  She began to think to much about everything, and she began to loose her tranquility.  "There are too many auras out here, and I want to go home.  I want to be with Willow, and Mayumi, and Tieral...." she said, her voice getting higher as she lost it.

"Hold it. Before you get too far out. Try to calm down. Try to block the auras, ignor them if you have to. Try to clutter your mind with things that are calming. I know this might be hard to do, but please try," Ahnah said, placing a wing over Goldenscale's back again in an attempt to comfort her, "You might try what I do to keep calm. Try looking at the world around you in a differnt way. Don't look at it as an unsafe realm outside the norm. Look at it as a chance to better yourself and possibly make new friends along the way. Be open to the world, but be aware of those who wish to harm. Remember also that you are not alone, that you have me and Midnight for company."

She was shaking and shook her head.  "I can't, I can't, I can't, I can't... I've never blocked out auras before, I don't know how!" she said, sitting and holding her paws over her chest as she lifted her head.  She closed her eyes and tried to block them out as Ahnah said, but she had no idea how.  Her mind was as open as a screen door and everything came through freely.  She then locked her knuckles together tightly as she tried to picture a barrier to lock out everything with her hands and went through the motions.
