"I want to see them, but I know they want nothing to do with me. It would put my mind at ease, but hurt to see my own parents reject me again. I want them to love me like parents should, but I know they wont, They only care for what the clan needs, To tell the truth, the onle people to ever show love for me are you and Tieral," she said, laying down and setting her head in the snow, "As for Stormcaller and Icewarden, they are spirits of nature, specifically meant to controle the elements. Each one controles a different elements, ligh, shadow, nature, earth, fire, water lightning, water, plague, wind, and arcane."

"I met Stormcaller.  He said I'd soon meet two others, though I don't remember their names.  I'm sorry about what happened in the past." she said, curling up around Ahnah.

"There was nothing you could have done, especially since you were not born yet," Ahnah said, licking Goldenscale's cheek, "The names to the dieties are Stormcaller, Icewarden, Arcanist, Plaguebringer, Earthshaker, Windsinger, Gladeskeeper, Flamecaller, Tidelord, Lightweaver, and Shadowbinder. So far, no one has ever managed to actually speak with the Arcanist or Tidelord though, so there's no confermation if they exist."

"I can't remember which two he said I would meet..." she said with a frown.  "Why am I being so forgetful?  I never forget things..." she mumbled to herself.

"It isn't you, it's an after effect the dieties have. Those who meet them, rarely remember much of what they say short of their names," Ahnah said, "The books I read on them  were written by several sources to obtain all the names."

"I remember what he said, I just don't remember their names.  He said that he was taking a particular soul from an egg because he protected it in a previouslife, and I said no, so then he said that I needed to get another soul of equal value to trade for the one he wanted, so I used a rogue's soul and traded for it.  Then he said that I was going to be meeting two others in the near future and that was it." she said closing her eyes and recollecting what happened.  "But I'm forgetting other things as well, and I don't ever forget..." she said more quietly.  "Maybe something is wrong wth me..."she said in one of the ancient languages she knew.  "We should probably be getting back.  Tieral was wondering where you went as well." she said as she got up and stretched.

"It was still probably his effect. It most likely effects nature spirits differently than it does normal people," Ahnah said, standing up, "We can ask the will on the way back, she'll know something about it."

"Alright.  You ready to go, Ahnah?" she asked, handing back the blanket.

"Seeing as I'm not getting any calmer staying up here, I might as well," she said, folding the blanket and placing it back in her bag, "Lead the way."

Goldenscale shook her body and jumped off a ledge, opening her wings.  She then began to glide back.  "Why are you so worried, Ahnah.  I know you said you almost died the last time you traveled, but  don't know why that happened..." she said, hovering near Ahnah.

"Well, outside the forest, there are creatures that care not for what you are so long as they can get a meal out of you. Most of these creatures run in packs and will often outnumber you. When I traveled, I was only prepared for the creatures of the tundra. Once I left the tundra, I was defenceless short of my magic," Ahnah said, the usual film of ice melting off of her, "The farther I went, the more unprepared I was. I even got sick several times during the trip. Illness is the most dangerous hazard of traveling as there are countless symptoms, and you never know what you caught. If it wasn't for Mayumi when I came here, I would have subcome to one such illness. What I worry about the most is the darkness. It isn't like the abscents of light though. The darkness I speak of is a omniprescent being who corrupts and destroys the minds of whoever it comes across."

"Sort of like Shade then?" she said quietly.  She could probably handle sickness and fighting others, but this darkness thing scard her a bit.  "Or is it more like a dark spirit?"

"It is something many creatures are afraid of. Particularly humans who call it the Shade of the gods. No one knows where it came from or what it wants, just avoid it at all costs. Some human stories refer to it as Chathulu, and others call it the grim reaper," Ahnah said, placing her bone back in her bag, "I had a close run in with this thing, but I was only able to get away due to another dragon getting in the way. The screams of pain and insanity were horrible."

"We.must avoid it!  Grim Reapers are Death Gods that come for those about to die or are dead.  Those that meet with it never survive or escape, unless they are very lucky or are saved by another." Goldenscale said as she shook her head.  Willow told her about it and how they managed to save her before it came for her.

"You understand my fear then. The dieties have a personal name for it, The Shade. In what few texts that can be found, there are mentions of it causing Kyne to disappear. There isn't much, but we can only imagine what happened," Ahnah said, landing near the willow, "There may be a way to send it back to where it belongs."
