"Nothing is wrong with me, but are you alright, Ahnah?" she asked.  She was freezing up there, but she didn't let anything betray her.  She needed to be strong so she could help Ahnah.  She was giving off so many different auras...

"I'm just.... I'm just afraid. The last time I did any kind of traveling like this,  it almost ended in my  death. I know we'll be fine, but it's hard not to remember the near death experiences I had," Ahnah said, pulling a blanketfrom her bag and handing it to Goldenscale, "I stopped here for multiple reasons, but the main one was because I was almost dead at the time."

Goldenscale took the blanket gratefully and walked over to Ahnah, licking her cheek.  "I'll do everything I can to keep you safe..." she said, nuzzling her.  "I won't let anything harm you.  Absolutely nothing."

"I know, but so many thing happened and didn't happen," Ahnah said, hugging Goldenscale, "I'm afraid something will happen to you. During my time here, I've learned what I could have done in my travels. Remembering these thing makes we long to return to the north, but I know I can't. It hurts, but there is nothing I can do about it."

"Do not worry about me, my objecgive is to protect others.  But nothing will happen to me." she said.  "I'll help you get back.  I know you want to get back, and I want to help you." she said, looking at Ahnah.  "I want you to be happy."

"Once someone leaves the clan I'm from, they are not to returne or be treated as a threat and killed," Ahnah said, pulling the bone out and holding it to her chest, "Outsideders are not alloud in either, and will be persued in the same manner as those trying to returne to the clan. I wouldn't be able to returne, not even if my parents tried to vouch for me."

"But I will try.  If they won't believe me as a normal creature, then they will have to believe me or Moonlight as spirits of nature.  I'll try to find a way, Ahnah.  I promise." she said, cuddling closer to Ahnah.

"That will be the only way. I don't know how I'll get in, but once they know your origins they'll let you in without a question," Ahnah said, wrapping a wng around Goldenscale to keep her warm, "As much as I hate my parents, I miss them too. I want to see them again, but i know it would be just as painful to see them as it would to not see them."

"I'm doing this so I can get you in.  I want you to be happy and be back with your family." she said, wrapping her own wings around Ahnah.

"As I said, it would be just as painful either way. If I am able to get back in, they'll only reject me for who I am, and still disown me," Ahnah murmered, "I may want to see them again, but I know they don't want to see me again, they made that clear when I left. My own mother destroyed what belonging I couldn't carry the night before I left. All I could see in her eyes was a cold emptiness."

"Would they welcome you back long enough for you to see your family?" she asked.  'I might as well give her parents a scolding.  I have only known my parent for s short while, but they seem to know nothing on how to care for a child.' she though sadly.

"I don't know how they would comply with a nature spirit's request like that. The whole clan is set in the old ways of worshipping nature, they respect it in any form. Food that is caught in a hunt is treated like a guest until it is needed, and no part goes unused," Ahnah said, idlely writting runes in the snow, "I know it's natural to miss one's parents, but some just don't deserve such."

"If they respect nature that much, then they better allow that for you.  I want you to be happy." she said.   "Maybe I can give them a few ideas on what they need to change..." she added quietly.

"As far as they care, I don't exist anymore. They probably don't even remember who I am, and even if they did they woulnd care to admit it," Ahnah sighed, "I know we need to go there since there are several artifacts there that will help us along the way. One in particular will help negate you body heat issue. They also have a shrine to the Icewarden, the elemental diety of ice."

"Huh.  I remember hearing that name from somewhere...  Maybe the Stormcaller mentioned it..." she thought outloud.  "But will it make you happy to see them?"
