Moonlight smiled at Kaden, understanding what he was thinking since she had done the same thing only moments before, then looked at Ahnah as she began to speak.    Occassionally she would sneak glances at Goldenscale and she seemed to be quite confused most of the time, her mind probably going in circles as she tried to figure out what she had been told and how much of it was true.  "That is very true, Ahnah dear.  People and objects change so frequently at any given point in time that by the time you finish learning information about everything, it will have become useless to you.  Don't worry about it too much though, and it goes for all of you.  There is no need to process the infomation here until the journey is done.  It will be of much more use then." she said to everyone, looking at each one of the beings in the room in turn before ending at Goldenscale.  "That meams you dear." she said to her.  The child gave a groan, but looked relieved at not needing the information.  At Alignak's question, she turned her head and smiled.  "Of course you can.  You need only to tell me." she said.

"Thank you. Ahnah has decided that she will finish her training as a shaman, and I'd rather not have her soul be bound here without freedom. With that said, would you be the spirit who accepts her offering at the ritual tomorrow morning," Alignak asked, passing the coin over to Ahnah, "All that means for you is that she might call on you for healing knowledge when it's needed, and her spirit becoming a guardian for you and your fallowers when she passes."

Moonlight beamed when she was asked if she could be the spirit at the ritual.  It was certainly a rare thing for her to be asjed for such a wonderous thing, and she was certainly not going to refuse.  "Of course I'll be there to accept the offering.  I would be honored to be the spirit if she wishes it.  I'm sure Goldenscale would rather she be free than to be separated from her, isn't that right dear?"  Goldenscale was purring happily at the thought of Ahnah being able to travel with her while finishing her training.  "I do like that quite a bit." she said, purring while she nuzzled her beloved.

"That's all I could ever ask of you. Ahnah deserves to have her spirit be free , and you're the second spirit that has visited us that would have that possible. The spirits that normally show themselves here haven't left the area since they first arrived, and all the shamans who were accepted by them are bound to this place because of that," Alignak said, looking relieved, "Corazon was the first shaman of this clan to not be bound here. She was able to appeal to Sunlight with her offering."

Purring as well, Ahnah smilled as she returned Goldenscale's affection. "This is wonderful. Not only will my training be complete, but my spirit will be free to travel in death while in Moonlight's service.," she said before looking to the blank silver coin Alignak had passed to her, "Now, no matter what happens to me, I'll always be able to see and protect those I love, even it it's just spiritual protection."

"Sorry that I took so long. I ended up having to thaw out everything first," Deniigi called as he entered the room with two pot, one filled with assorted veggies and fruit, and the other filled with light meats, "Everything is ready now though. Feel free to take what you need." Looking around he smilled, "I seem to have missed something important here. Mind filling me in?"

"Well, I'm glad to be of help.  To be honest, I wouldn't need an offering to let her become a shaman under my name.  But since it is a part of the ritual, I will not change anything.  And soon sister will beome united by similar spirits, both free to roam the world under spirits whom share many of the same responsibilities." she said with a chuckle.  Goldenscale smiled and looked at Ahnah as she spoke.  "Well, hopefully you'll be around a long time before death.  Even though it is heartwarming to know that you'd always be around." she purred.  For not even a second, Moonlight's smile faltered.  She knew that there was a high probability that Goldenscale may travel to the great heavens when she dies since she had used up her second chance.  There would be little time for them both to see each other after death.  As Deniigi entered the room, she perked up and chuckled.  "You missed a great deal.  We all need to touch up on our knowledge of the affinities and I'm going to be the spirit Ahnah makes her offering to tonorrow to finish her training as a Shaman." she said.  "If I'm missing anything, please feel free to fill him in on it." she said.  Even though the scent of food was I toxicating, Goldenscale kept herself sitting as she waited for everyone to get food before herself.  It was just one of the habits she had.

"I think that covers everything relavent," Kaden said, giving a nod as he took a single piece of meat, "By the sounds of everything, toorrow will be an evventfull day."

"That's great news to hear. I couldn't wish for a better spirit to accept the offering than you ir Sunlight. Just like the living, spirits need to be able to travel away from what they call home every so often," Deniigi said, watching as Alignak and Corazon took their shares, "Corazon was able to appeal to Sunlight when she performed her last ceremony. Sunlight said the same thing about the offering, but eventually decided to take a single gold coin from out of the entire bundle. I guess you and Sunlight don't need as much to remind you of the mortal world as the other spirits do."

"Whatever the reason, I'm greatful regardless. There's nothing I wouldn't give to allow Corazon and Ahnah to be free. It's what Aga would have wanted for them,  and she knew what they needed much more than I did in her time," Alignak said, letting his food cool, "There's a lot I have to learn, but I will in time. I still have many years in my life to learn."

"I don't know if we'll ever meet in our afterlives, but it'll be nice knowing you'll be out there Corazon. Maybe I can be a better sister before then when this is all over," Ahnah said, taking a small handful of veggies and fruit, "I just hope we all make it to see the end of all this. All we can do is do our best, and hope for the best."

Moonlight gave a nod when Kaden said she hadn't missed anything.  Whn Deniigi spoke, Moonlight turned her head to look at him, then purred as an idea popped into her head.  "Well, I might have to follow Sunlight's example and only take something small.  Honestly, just looking around at all the success the species have is enough for us.  I am proud to watch over such intelligent species." she said with a chuckle.  "Well, it's good you are learning now, Alignak.  Everyone does make mistakes, but that is the point of life.  Mistakes need to be made in order to learn from them.  But besides the point, I'm still honored to have such a wonderful Tundra under my name.  Goldenscale has already put her full faith in her, so I have no reason not to." she said with a purr.  Goldenscale herself gave a purr and looked to Ahnah with a nod of agreement.  Afer Ahnah got her food, Goldenscale took her own, taking a little meat and vegetables, though there was more of the latter than the former.  "I am confident we will make it to the end.  But if it comes to that, I'll give everything to make sure those around me survive." she said as she began to take bites of the meat.

"The way I see it, Sunlight took the coin as a wayto have direct contact with Corazon. It was the one object she blessed out of the entire ofering. I'm guessing that would create some sort of mental connection with that object that Sunlight could use as some form of indicator of Corazon's need of him," Deniigi said, getting a nod from Corazon, "I'm just going from what the spirit I am sworn to has told me. The offering I made was used in such a way, but there's no real telling with Sunlight and Corazon."

"The mistakes I made are inexcusable to say the least. All I can hope for now is that I can at least reverse the damage I have done, especially for Ahnah. That will have to come with time though. I wouuld only be causing more trouble by holding here away from where she's needed," Alignak said, staring in on his food, "Maybe now that Deniigi's in charge here, the village will be more successful as well. So many villages here in the tundra have likely grown quite a bit since our last interactions with them."

"I couldn't ask any more from you Goldenscale. I'm sure Moonlight wouldn't have let us start on this journey if she wasn't confident that we would make it through," Ahnah said, finishing what little food she had grabbed, "If anything, we have something to fight for. We have more than just ourselves for motivation."

Moonlight listened to Deniigi as he spoke, then nodded.  "That is a good way of keeping in contact with those underneath your name.  I have yet to be a part of such a ceremony, so I wouldn't know.  The beings I normally bring back have a direct connection to me with their minds, as Goldenscale does.  But I guess since Sunlight and I didn't originally have connections with neither Ahnah nor Corazon, objects must come in handy." she thought.  Moonlight then sighed as she watched Alignak.  "Stop beating yourself up about it.  What happened is past, there is no reason to dwell on it.  You know what mistakes you've made, so now you can mend the bonds with your children.  You also need to eat your food so you can stay healthy, Alignak." Moonlight stated.  Goldenscale gave a shrug, but then nodded.  "We do have a lot to use as motivation, but honestly I'm not sure if Moonlight does know, no offense Moon." she said, looking over to the spirit.  "None taken." she replied.  "The future could change based on our interactions and what we do." Goldenscale finished.

"Whatever the case, I'm sure it serves some purpose to Sunlight. The connection isn't something we, as shamans, use all that often. It's somethinge we call on when we've exhausted all our options and knowledge. So far, Corazon hasn't needed to call on Sunlight," Deniigi said, finishing his meal before turning to Alignak, "Moonlight is right. You need to put the past behind you. What is done is done, there's no changing that. Instead, focus on the future and what you can do."

"I suppose that's true. It'll only hold me back I supose," Alignak said, starting to eat.

"The future is in the hands of those who act. The past is in the hands of those who write. I don't see us sitting idlely by in all this," Ahnah said, finishing what food she had, "There's nothing stopping us from taking the future into our own hands, and I see no reason we shouldn't."

Moonlight gave a nod and watched as most everyone finished eating, nothing more really needing to be said.  Goldenscale looked down, frowning.  What Ahnah said had been true, but it wasn't really the answer she expected.  Yes, they were acting and they could certainly change the future, but there were others who were acting as well, mainly the Shade.  It could change something whenever it wanted because it had the power, and that is what worried her.  Her food lay mainly untouched except for a few bites taken from the small piece of meat and the vegetation.  "But that's the thing.  We don't know if there is anything preventing us.  I'm sure that the Shade won't allow us to continue our journey without putting mountains of trouble and problems in our path." she said quietly, rolling around a vegetable with a claw.

"The Shade is a powerful being, but it isn't all seeing. We have likely gone unnoticed, and will likely continue to be until we start gthering a major amount of power behind us. As we sit, Kyne trying to escape the Tower of Elements is more of a concern for it than we are right now," Kaden said, finishing his own meal, "Once the Shade notices us, it's going to be much more difficult to move forward. It will throw everything it can manage at us until our jouney is completed."

""We'll just need to be careful then. If we keep our actions as low key as we can, then we might be able to get close to the Shade before it notices us," Ahnah said, leaning lightly against Goldenscale. "You should finish your food. You'll need the energy to finish recovering, and not eating will only prolong the process," she said, I can't eat too much till after the ritual, but you need the energy."

Goldenscale nodded and looked to the ground, Kaden's words singing truth.  "I hope that we can find most of the relics before it finds us.  I'm not sure I want to meet it..." she said.  Moonlight nodded.  "Well, I'll do what I can to preoccupy it and keep the attention away from you all." she added.  Goldenscale smiled and looked at Ahnah as she spoke.  "Fine..." she said as she bit some meat off of the small piece she had.  "So, Deniigi, you wished to speak to me in private?  I'm afraid I can't stay for much longer.  I've been here much longer than I anticipated." Moonlight said with a regretful smile and sigh.

"If you don't have the time, don't worry about it. It's not something important. We'll meet again during and after Ahnah's rite tomorrow. We'll have more time to alk then," Deniigi said, giving a nod, "There's nothing I can say at this time that would be more important than your duties or the questions Ahnah or Goldenscale have. Besides, I need to start setting up the ritual stones."

"I should start getting my part of the rite put together as well. I only have till tomorrow morning. There's a lot that needs to be put together," Ahnah said, stretching before standing up. Looking down to the box she had brought in, she sat back down, "Well, that can wait for this to be shared first," she said, taking hold of the box before looking to Moonlight, "That is if you don't mind."

Moonlight listened to Deniigi and sighed.  "That would probably be best, meeting after the ceremony.  At least then I can be sure to tell Sunlight in advance I'll be gone for quite a while.  We'd watch over each other shifts if needed, so hopefully I'll have a bit more time tomorrow." she said, still smiling regretfully.  At hearing Ahnah speak about the box, Moonlight shook her head.  "No, I don't mind.  Goodbye Golden." she said as she went over to the child and nuzzled her.  "Goodnight everyone." she finished before walking outside and disappearing.  Goldenscale leaned against Ahnah and pured.  "What's the box?" she asked.
