"I want to make something nice, but all I really know is how to do is make rope. Tyler took a lot from me when he broke me. He took most of my memories from before I met him," Midnight said, lowering her head, "Beyond what I've learned from being around you two, I don't know much, or what all I can do."

Goldenscale smiled.  "Don't worry.  We'll help you to remember what you can do, and hopefully we can remember what memories you had lost as well." she said.  She then looked at the string of beads she had created already.  "Do you know what in particular you want to make, Midnight?" she asked her.

"I don't really know, just something nice. because of Tyler, I've only ever made rope, and this string of beads," she said,  holding up the string.

"Well, why don't we work with what you do know. Knowing how to weave a piece of rope my not seem capable of making something nice, but there's poential with every skill," Ahnah said, pulling out a box of yarn, "Mixing it with beads, we can help you make a tassle."

Goldenscale smiled and nodded her head in aggreement.  There was potential with every skill, all that had to be done was find it.  When Ahnah suggested making a tassle, she turned her head to the side and frowned.  "That's a tassle?" she asked.  She knew many things, yet these tassles were not one of the..

"Tassels are decorative pieces meant to be tied to something. They're knotted at one end where its decorative pieces are, and one end has loosly hanging thread or string. It has one loop that extends form the knot so it can be tied to something," Ahnah said, taking out a knot of silver thread and letting it hang to show what she was describing, "They're fairly easy to make if you know how to weave rope ends."

Goldenscale smiled.  "Oh, so that's what it is.  Well, Ahnah would probably be of more help with helping you make one than me.  But that seems like it would be a pretty decoration." she said with a smile.

"That looks nice. I could give it a try," Midnight said with a smile before taking some of the yawn, "I know how to do rope ends. It wont be perfect, but it'll still look nice."

"Well, it's decided then. We'll make you a tassel," Ahnah said, taking a handful of beads and stringing them onto the yarn, "Should be easy enough, and it'll be nice and pretty to look at."

Goldenscale smiled and watched the fire.  She didn't really want to help in case she messed something up, so she was fine with watching the fire.  She then tried to use her magic to play with the fire, contorting it to look like something, or just watching it change to different colors.

After an hour had passed, Midnight pulled tight the last strand of yarn before holding up the finished tassel. The tassel itself was compossed four different colors that twisted around, held in place by the beads that were used.

"There, now isn't that something," Ahnah asked, looking at the finished product.

"It's nice. I like it," Midnight said, holding the tassel close, "I want to keep it close. Everything has been taken from me, I wont let this be taken."

Goldenscale was laying in front of the fire, dozing off a bit.  Once she heard everyone talking she roused herself and looked at the tassle they had made.  "That looks amazing, Midnight." she said with a smile.  "You should keep it then.  You did make it after all." she added.

"After everything you've been through, I don't blame you. To loose so much is hard enough on you," Ahnah said, packing the materials away, "For now, I'll hold onto it. I'll work on a bag for you while you and Goldenscale talk with Alignak. No need in getting it messed up before you can find a place for it."

"Oh, OK. That makes sense. I don't want it to get too damaged," Midnight said, giving Ahnah a nod before passing it over to her, "I know I can trust the two of you."

Goldenscale smiled.  "It will be safe with Ahnah.  I know it as a fact." she said happily.  She was working on her magic, though she was only trying to control the fire and turn it into creatures, like wyverns or birds of plain lizards.  She dind't know what else to do.  "So how much longer do we have until we have to speak with Alignak?" she asked.

"If you start looking for him now, you'll probably find him about noon. It's been a long time since I was last here so I can't quite remember his route for the day," Ahnah said before tking the remaining yarn and thread to start on a bag, "When you two decide to head out, don't forget to take a blanket for each of you. Being bound to plants like you are, I'm sure you've noticed the cold affecting you more than anyone else."

Goldenscale nodded.  "Okay.  We should head out then.  We do not know the layout of the village, so it would be best to start out and find him quickly." she said.  She then walked into the main room and looked in her bag for the blankets she had stored there.  There was also the blanket the elder had given them, but she wasn't going to use it.  She then wrapped and tied the blanket around her well and walked back into the back room.  "Hee Midnight.  Tie this around you." she said as she held out the blanket for her.

Taking the blanket, Midnight held her wings close as she wrapped the blanket around herself. "I don't think we'll be abe to stay out there too long, even with these. The cold penetrates everything out there," she said, moving the blanket so the her flower could still get light, "Judging from last night, I'd say we can stay out there for about an hour before needing to head inside."
