After a few minutes of searching the large creature layed down in the middle of the clearing and the youngling started feading. Keeping an eye out, the creature had its tail raised and fanned out with the spikes ready to fire.

Beck stayed inside. He took a baseball out and began to bounce it against some soft material. 

Perking its ears up for a moment the creature slowly looked around before laying its head back down. "You had to throw us into the fire didn't you," Naathaniel thought as he slowly made his way towards the buildings, using the branches to keep himself out of sight and reach of the creature.

He bounces it til a camera falls down on him with memory cards. "Oh, what is this?" He starts to look at the mechanisms.

The creature's head jolted up at the sound of the camera falling. Nudging the younglings over to the front half of the rig, the creature made its way over to the building Beck was in. Standing just outside the door, it stuck and arm in, the wing like protrusion cutting cleanly through the wall, to feel around as it looked through a window.

Beck rubs his head as he sets up. Why me? He thought.

"Come one, think fast," Nathaniel thought as he looked through his bag. Taking out the gun, he aimed at the back half of the rig and fired.

Pulling its arm from the building, taking a chunk of the wall with it, it turned to look towards Nathaniel's position. Raising its tail, it fired of several spikes into the tree's branches.

Beck opened the door and looked and he froze. He has seen this creature before. The scar on its left cheek. " it cannot be. I thought she ran off?" He walks closer slowly and digs for something he never thought he'd use again.

Several shots could be heard as Nathaniel fired at the creature, pinned to the tree by a spike in his left shoulder.

Flinching at the gun shot, the creature ran to the tree Nathaniel was in and started clawing at the base, trying to up some of the roots.

Beck pulls out a harmonica and starts playing. The music is loud enough to catch the creatures attention. He walks up closer. Trying to make it hear the music more clearly.

Halting any actions, the creature looked up and towards Beck, the spikes on its tail laying flat again. Turning around, it lowered its head so that it was looking Beck in the eyes, a deep scar on its right eye becoming visible as it got closer. After a moment it started puring in tune with the harmonica.

He stopes and puts his hand out. " I thought you died girl."

Giving Beck's hand a lick, the creature pressed its head gently against Beck. Looking up into the tree, it let out a growl as it heard a quiet wheezing.

"Beck, a little help here," Nathaniel said weakly before dropping his gun.

"Yeah easy girl easy. He's not here to hurt you." He pats it on the nose softly before heading his way. "You know that was a bad idea right?" He says pulling it out and getting some meds ready.

"It was the only thing I could think to do to get it to it to turn away from your location," he said, slumping against the tree, the skin and tissue from the bone up on his shoulder was torn to pieces, "One question, how did you sudue it with that harmonica? I've never know a nargacuga that enjoyed music."
