nathaniel let out a panther like howl of his own when Beck aplied the alchohol. "How did you ever manage befriending her," he said once he caught his breath, "I nearly got myself trying that one time."

"She was my partner when I was younger. It was a part of my past that I don't like to talk about," he starts to stitch using a bone and thread.

"I'm definitly going to have to see Doc about this later," he said looking over to see his shoulder, "I'll have to rest for a few days too. I've lost quite a bit of blood there."

" your right. Ruby," he calls up ," can you give us a ride possibly?" He asks looking at her.

Ruby had gone over to where her young were and was currently letting them climb on her. Lokking over to Beck, she stood and walked over to him, lowering her head so that he could climb on.

Grabbing the gun her dropped with his good arm, he pocketed the weapon and tried to stand,, but only fell back down against the tree. "OK, wont be trying that again. Too much blood lost to get around," he said holding his head.

Beck helps him up and keeps him steady as he petted her. " thank you girl." He guides her just a block away from the colony and gets off he hands her a pear before petting her one last time. " thank you girl. I hope you and your children have a good life."

Taking the pear, Ruby walked over to the edge of the forest across the street from the colony and sat down to devide the fruit up among her children. Pulling down most of the low hanging limbs, she started weaving them into a den supported by the trees.

Beck takes Nathaniel inside and to doc. " what on earth did you two get into?" "It was my fault," beck said setting Nathaniel on the table. The doc looks over him," did you do this beck?" He asks amazed by it. "Yes."

"Just tell the truth Beck. She was only protecting her young," Nathaniel said as he layed down, "Not even that large gun could cut the skin like this, the bullets are too sharp to tear."

"Not that the stitching. No one has stitched like this but the rangers." The doc said. "Just help him. He's bleed out to much and needs the help." The doc looks for a blood pack that matches his and barely finds one and hooks Nathaniel up.

"Beck, I don't care what your history is, but whatever you learned then must not fall into the wrong hands," he said, flinching a little when he was hooked up.

Outside, Ruby finished making a den, having removed enough dirt to cover the top of the building four inches deep. Using the dirt, she covered the den cover so as to make it looke like a hill at the edge of the trees.

"No oh boy oh needs to answer. I heard that creature from here. This stitching isn't anything that you can learn from growing up. You were trained." "Yes but first I want Nathaniel to be up and running before I say anything else. Since I caused it."

"What happened to nathaniel," Sasha asked when she entered the room and saw nathaniel laying down, "He looks a little anemic."

"I caused an uproar with an old friend and well this is what happened." Beck down his back against the wall.
