"Share whatever you wish to share," she said closing a hand around the flame to crystalize it.

"The plants are what's keeping me alive.  When I said it was the animals that helped me to recover, I lied.  The magic that the forest is what healed me when I was attacked.  When I was attacked, I know I heard several bones along my body break, and I'm prettly sure my spine was included.  Though I wasn't awake, I know it was the forest that healed what seemed most life threatening and let the other creatures take care of the rest.  That's why I'm able to hear the forest more clearly than everyone else.  My soul is linked to them, sort of like Archen's was attached to the land.  If the link I share with them was to be severed, I would go back to that helpless hatch long I was before they helped me." she said quietly.  *So you told them.  You know if someone overheard you, your life would be in danger.* the willow stated.  'But I trust them.' she replied.

"Yet another reason for me to be thankful for nature. You'd be surprised at what I can hear," she said breaking the crystal off the candle and placing it in her satchel, "From my father, i gain the ability to see into one's past through their eyes. From my mother, I recieved the ability to hear the voices of the world. I may not be able to speak with nature, but I can here it. If the link is ever becomes severed, and I hope it never does, we will be there to help you."

"I hope not, either.  But now that I said that out loud, there could have been...other ears listening." she said with a frown.  "But now you two know, so it's all good now." she said with a smile.

"If anyone other than us heard that, it would be your three enforcers. They are swron to never harm you," she said relighting the candle with a normal flame, "Now, what say we get on with the feast?"

"Yeah!" she said.  But she couldn't shake the feeling like someone other than them overheard.  She shook of the feeling and joined Mayumi and Frost with the feast.

Frost hands off plates, "Mayumi's right you know."

"I know." she said taking the plate.  She stopped thinking about it entirely.

"Once we're done celebrating, we'll need to head to the council building to drop off some paper work, then head to the orphanage to pick up more," she said taking a plate, "We might as well make it official that we're a family."

"Why do you need papers to adopt me?  I wasn't hatched here, nor do I think I even have an account of who I am here.  And besides, everything would be undefined." she said.  She honestly had no idea what papers did in these matters.

Frost eats a plate, "It'll be ok Goldenscale trust us."

"It's only so the council can have records of who is with who. You'll only need to sign your name. Frost and I will have to fill out the conditions we live in. I was thinking we might live at Frost's place. There's more room there," she said pulling the bottle of cider from the fire once the first round of plate were cleared, "Everyone ready for the second serving of cider?"

"I wonder if the flavors changed..." she said.  When she would experiment with her food back then, she discovered that more of the flavors were brought out she. An object of food was heated.

"You'll notice the cider is much sweeter now that it has been heated," she said pouring the cider into each glass, watching as steam rose from them, "Let there be many happy years for us as a family."

"Yes.  To happiness and peace." she said.
