"That's cool.  So what you're implying is that you are from a different world?" she said out of curiosity.  She knew it was possible for life to be on any of the other planets in the night sky, but she never thought about it until now.

"Yes, one with a lot more problems than this one. In the seven years I lived there, I had already been forced to live on my own for five out of those years, and fight in a war that spanded several melenia. Then there's the whole issue with the reverie, but that one is a bit harder to explain," she said, "I'm of a species know as the flarion dragon flight, the living representation of the Flamewaker Valdren Flarion and the Flamekeeper Kelan Flarion, our dieties."

Frost brings in the food for the feast of theirs. "Foods ready."

"Wow, that 's amazing.  Not the part about the problems of your planet, but that there is life on mother planets and stars." she said. 

"The problems were of no one's control. While I didn't get to stay long enough to get to know what exactly was going on, I do know that one of the dieties, Nefirian Dreamscar, was trying to bridge the gap between the world of dreams and reality," she said, "Lets not get into that though. No need in worrying about a world that's an unknown distance away. I'm not even sure which set of stars are Ciere and Degregorius. Why don't we focus on celebrating first?""

"Yeah, let's celebrate!" she said with a wide smile.  She bounced around the room a couple of times.

Then let us do so as a family," she said smiling as she watched Goldenscale before she pulled a bottle labled 'Midwintre Cider' from drawer hidden in the wall, "Back on Valenth, this would be save for the Midwintre festival,  a yearly celebration ment to highlight new births in a family and to morn the loss of loved ones. This is one of my last three bottles, and I think this is the perfect time to open it."

Goldenscale put the necklace around her neck with the other two and went over to observe the bottle.  "Exotic drinks, wonderful..." she said observing the bottle.

"Opening the bottle, Mayumi poured out three glasses of the cider the putting the cork back in and setting the bottle into the flame she started ealier. "As the old tradition went, the first glass was always served cold in memory of those who passed. Latter, after the first serving of the feast, they would serve a second glass of the cider that had been warmed to celebrate the newest additions to the village or family," she said handing a glass to Goldenscale and Frost, "This may not be a true Midwintre festival, but I might as well share my culture's traditions."

Goldenscale smiled.  "Wow, I've never been a part of any tradition before." she said.

"There are plenty of traditions from my parents I'd like to keep alive, but living here in this cave has putt a hold on them. One of our personal traditions was to wake early in the morening and start boiling water using our vital fire. We would then go out and water the garden with the vitae infused water," she said sipping at ger glass, "That all stopped when Chiei was taken. I have hope that I can once again have a garden, and star the tradition up once more."

"I'm going to grow a garden up in my home.  Since I'm a part of the council, the said I could have a home.  So I had one made in the cave wall.  There's going to be a stream running through it, I'm going to grow a bunch of plants, there's going to even be a willow!  ButI don't know if it is done yet..." she said.  "What's a 'vital fire'?" she asked.

"I have two flames. One that you would be familiar with, the normal red ad orange flame, and the vital flame, a blue and white flame heavily charged with vitae. I don't use my vital flame very offten since it has the capability destroying whatever it touches if there isn't magic to prevent that," she said lighting a candle with her vital flame to show the color difference, "Back on Valenth, every flarion had this flame. It was ment to be used to cleance the enviroment of mirajin taint, to reverse the damage done by the dream realm. My mother figured out that it also could be used to infuse water with vitae, and in turn help plants grow using the infused water."

Frost brings in the last of the food.

"Awesome!" she said and smiled.  'I wonder if I could possibly have a 'vital fire' like Mayumi?  I clearly don't fit in here with the normal dragons, so why not.' she thought to herself.  She went up to study the fire as she thought.  "Since we are some what on the topic of plants, I have something to tell both of you." she said.
