"As far as I can tell, the magic he uses is almost the same," the hunter said after Goldenscal shifted, "Anywyas, once we're inside the cave, I know someone who might be able to fix that limp you've got. She's been busy lately, but I'm sure she can find some spare time to help your case."

For a second, she looked hopeful.  But then she frowned.  She had tried to use her own magic to fix the problem, but it never worked.  She had even tried every healing trick she knew to try and fix it.  But she thought it was impossible.  She then shifted back and sat down.

"it wouldn't be mayumi? if so i know where she's at. That's if you trust me." he said looking at goldenscale.

"Yes, it is Mayumi. I'm not going promise she can fix that limp, but she could give it a good try. If anything, she can reduce the severity of the damage," the hunter said starting to stuff the second bag with snow,  "She has performed miracles before, but does have the occasional failure."

"Like i said it's her choice. i'm not going to force the kid. So what do you say?" Frost asks still looking over the kids ability to copy his magic.

Goldenscale thought it over for a second, then looked at the man and the dragon.  She smiled and nodded her head.  It was always worth a try.  Maybe she could even learn how to fix her leg if she found out what went wrong. 

"follow me then," he walks up the mountain.

She followed close behind.  But not before she grabbed a tall branch off of the ground and broke off the smaller stems.  Just in case she had to shape shift again.

At the entrance of the cave, several dragons could be seen using the snow gathered to build a massive barrier to block the cave, leaving one opening big enough for the largest dragon of the cave to pass through.

"Welcome back Frost. Any luck with your assignment," the dragon put in charge of the project asked Frost before seeing Goldenscale, "And who might this be? No matter, we've got plenty of room for her to find a place to stay.."

"I thought she could stay with me. also do you know where mayumi is?" he looked up at the dragon. Frost is still in his dragon form.

She hid behind Frost shyly.  'How could I have missed this?' she thought to herself.  She had tucked the stick she had under her wing so she could walk easier.

Frost gave her a wink that she'll be ok.

""Last we saw her, she was heading out to gather materials. She hasn't returned yet. We understand that it is harder to find the herbs around this time of year, but she's been gone longer than normal for the time of year," the elder said before looking to the workers and directing them to reinforce the base of the barrier then turning back to Frost, "The newcomer is free to choose where she stays. As far as we can tell, she doesn't owe any services to anyone here."

Goldenscale stayed close to Frost because he and the hunter were the only dragons she knew.  She was also in a new environment that she didn't understand, so she wanted to stick close to the ones she knew.

"Well i'm off to work" he heads out
