"Goldenscale, Tinna Locke is looking for you," Mayumi said when she found Goldenscale, "She said she was going tell you something that she didn't have time for this morning."

"Alright, thanks." she said as she got up.  She then went over to Gonna.  "I hear you're looking for me." she said.

"Yes, you wanted to know about school this morning," Tinna said, "What do you want to know about school?"

"What is school?" she asked.  Though she did not know the term, she had already been to a school.  The forest was her school as her teachers were the trees and the creatures around her.

"School is were us hatchlings go to learn about the world and skills that willhelp us survive. Mostly, we learn what is and isn't good to eat or hunt, but we also learn practical skills like writting and math," Tinna said tilting her head, "I'm guessing were you came from, everything was learned on the go."

"Yep.  Some skills, like fighting, flying, and hunting were taught to me by the creatures of the forest.  Other skills like using my magic, foods, healing and all that I learned on my own.  I learned how to think using words, write and a few other things from the trees.  I couldn't speak back them, bit I had to know what to think.  Writing...I don't know why they taught me that because I haven't ever had ink.  But yeah..." she said.

"Maybe they taught you because they thought you would need to know how to write later on," Tinna said, "The only problem I see with school is that if you don't do well enough, they try to blame you for it. The teachers never take the blame,, they'd rather say we were slacking than admit they didn't do their job well enough. I'm always getting trouble because I don't understand math too well."

"I'll be glad to help you after school if you want." she said. And if she didn't know, she'd ask the willow.

"I don't know, I d wouldn't want to cut into any time  or work you have. I know you're trying to find a cure for Mom's condition and working on something neart eh cieling, I don't want to add to the workload you already have," Tinna said wrapping her tail around her forepaws, "The teachers always say that it isn't good to over work yourself."

"I do and she just gets mad at me and says that she has better things that need to be done," Tinna said lowering her head, "Sometimes, I think she doesn't want me to learn math."

"Then ask the willow. She'll help you." she said.

"Before yesterday, I never knew the willow could speak, that and I hardly have any free time due to Mom's illness," Tina said, "Between Dains and me, we only have about ten minutes of free time each day aside from meal times."

"Mom sayd that, like her, Dains and I have closed minds. We can't hear those who try to speak in our minds, all we hear is a low hum," Tinna said looking up when something hit the roof, "Sometimes the humming is calming, but other times it's hard to even hear."
