She then jumped up.  "Where is it!" she yelled.

"Calm down, i handed it over to Talia when we got back. She took it to its rightfull parents," Mayumi said understanding Goldenscale's concern, "Still what was it doing way out there with you?"

She fell back over.  "The lithe came back and stole the egg.  Thrived to destroy him with a concentrated beam of moonlight and energy, but he somehow lived.  Nothing can survive it, but he did..." she said wearily.  She still hadn't fully recovered from the past two days.  "Urg..." she said as she covered her small body in her feathery wings.

"He has a very powerful and persistant spirit, even for a litch. If we want to be rid of him for good, we'll need to trap him in someone or some creature so that a ritual of passingcan be performed on him," Mayumi said, "if you don't mind me asking, what this aout a cure? You were mumbling all sorts of things, but that was the only bit i could make out."

"Something with the moon and the trees..." she mumbled.  She shot up.  'Did the moon and the tree work their magic on the children's mother?' she thought.  She bolted out the door towards their home.

When Goldenscale reached the twins' home, she was greeted by Dains and Tinna at the door as they were leaving. "Morning Goldenscale," they both said.

"Morning, you two.  How was your night?" she asked them.

"Nothing special, just a plain night's sleep," Tinna said with a smile, "how was your's?"

"Bad... but don't worry.  I'll get more sleep later..." she said.

"Sorry to hear that," Tinna said, "If you're here to talk to Mom, she's inside as usual."

"Alright." she said.

"We need to get to school before we're late," Tinna said heading towards the school, "I'll come find you about lunch time."

"Got it.  What's school like?" she asked.  She hadn't every gone to a 'school' before.  She wondered what it was like.

"I'll tell you during lunch. They hold it against us if we're late," Tinna said before running off with Dains.

She yawned and walked back to Mayumi's cave before collapsing in a corner and covering her body with her wings.  "One question before I fall asleep.  What was it you wanted me and Frost to seeing the backroom?" she asked quietly.
