"T-there are creatures outside trying to kill Mayumi and I won't allow it because killing another isn't the way to live.  And...and...and now they are trying to break in and if we get in the way of these creatures, they'll kill us, too.  ButnI couldn't reason with the one who's doing this.  And...and...and now, I-I don't know how it will end." she stuttered the best she could.  She could truly say she was now afraid for everyone's life, but she couldn't do it alone.

"We are trained to protect. Be it the council of a single lonly soul. Mayumi will not be harmed if I have anything to say about it," the enforcer said giving a silent order to the others to brace the wall, "Calm your mind and prepare for anything."

Goldenscale closed her eyes and took a deep breath in.  She then opened her eyes again and stood on her hind legs, ready for anything.  Though she had only tried this once, she created curved blades on her forearms.  "May the stars watch over us in this battle she said.

 "Don't use a style that you are unfamiliar with. Doing so will only serve to make fighting them harder," the enforcer said as rocks raised from the ground to form a set of armor around him and several other enforcers, "Nature will be our ally and weapon and the same of us to her. Before they make it through, do you know who it is sending these agressors?"

"You craft little girl," the voice said to the insane Goldenscale when she reached the village the source was coming from.

"No, but I should be receiving information about the person soon.  I sent my insane self to fight him." she said, still full of fear for what could happen.

"His name is Archen," Tieral said holding the head of one of the attacking dragons, "One of them found the hole in the cieling, but their mind has told me enough. Taking Archen down wil free these poor souls. To kill him permanently, you must destroy his crystal so his soul has nowhere to return to."

"B-But where is it?" she asked.  She made a high-pitched humming noise from her chest to tell the trees of the plan.  The rustling of their leaves was loud to let her know of their answer.

"That I can not tell. One only has so much time to think when they die. I could not read enough to tell you more," Tieral said in an almost shocked state, "I never imagined the horror that would come from killing another, but it was kill or be killed."

"I've always known what that is." she said, her head now bowed.  She then raised her head, a look of determination on her face.  "I will not let these creatures hurt Mayumi, or I'll be sent along with my vow to Darkfire."   She walked up to the wall to be the first o be hit with whatever these creatures had.  She was ready.

Frost looks at mayumi "whats going on? what's happening are you ok?"

"Fight me here if you wish, but know that a battle on here is a battle lost there,"the voice said, eminating from the top of a tower in the middle of a seemingly abandoned village.

"I know he bluffs offten, butin the same instence he could be telling the truth. A threat could be real or fake, but there is no telling," Tieral said as more of the stones were slowly removed.

"We're being atacked. They want me dead," Mayumi said looking pale wih fear, "He's found me."

"What who has. and why what happened." Theres a sculputure of all three of them made of ice and fresh cooked meat on a platter.

"Be ready!  They will enter at any moment.  I shall be the first one they come into contact with, so you all have more time to ready yourselves!" she yelled.  "Come and get me, I'll be sure you all die." she said quietly.

"Oh, who says they'll die first." insane Goldenscale hissed.  "We both shall win today."

"His name is Archen. He killed Chiei and ran me from my old home," mayumi said trying to keep from panicing, "He's found me, and he wants me dead. He is controling dragons of all kind to fight."

"Mis Golddragon, you called us here. We are ready as we are, any more time will only be wasted. Let us take the front line," the enforcer said headbutting one of the dragons that had stuck their heads through the hole in the wall, "Most of us have nothing to loose short of our lives.If any of us die, we will not be missed."

"No matter. i will rise again," Archen said letting the door to the tower open to show a maze like interior, "Good luck getting to me in time."

"I have trained to right several species and I've become the champion fighter in each.  Everyone's lives are always worth more.  I will stay up here and fight." she said.  She then prepared to let down the barrier.

Goldenscale was already 1/3 of the way done with the maze by the time he had finished talking.  'Foolish human, I'm greatly smarter than you think...' she thought as she navigated the maze with ease.
