Goldenscale went over to her and curled up next to her to let her know that she wasn't alone.  She stayed quiet though so Mayumi could grieve in peace.

"Please don't ever leave me Goldenscale," Mayumi said bringing her wings around to give Goldenscale a light hug, "You meaan more to me than you would believe."

"I swear upon my life I'll never leave you." she said, hugging Mayumi back.

"Thank you," Mayumi said trying to smile through her sorrow, "I don't know what I'd do if I lost you too."

Goldenscale brought her muzzle to touch Mayumi's and sat down.  "We should think happy thoughts..." she said, smiling slightly.

"I don't have much to think about other than the past. Just bitter sweet memories and pain," Mayumi said lowering her head, her smil starting to fade.

"Think about the present, think about the happy memories of Chiei, just don't think about the sad memories." she said.

When I think of the present, I  only have the pain the council has caused. When I think of Chiei...," Mayumi said trailing off into sobs and whines before breaking down into tears.

Goldenscale frowned and lay her head on the ground.  She didn't know what to do for once.  So she let Mayumi sob.  

Back at the cave Frost works on personal things and also a welcome home for the two at mayumi's home.

After a while, Mayumi began to calm down. Standing up and moving over to the fireplace, she took the metal box off the fire, and taking the cake out to cool.

Goldenscale raised her head slightly when she heard Mayumi taking the cake from the metal box with the holes in the top.  She seemed calmer, but she didn't know for sure.

"Is eveything alright in there," Tieral asked  telepathicaly, "Everyone around the cave is wondering what the shreek was."

'Everything is good now...' she said.

"Would you mind comming out here  and saying what happened? The council is waiting for someone to come forward with answers. I'm doing my best to keep them from barging in," Tieral said blocking the front door, "I can only hold them back so long."
