"Maybe there was a reason.  I was abandoned before I was hatched, then years later attacked by a dragon.  I thought that I wasn't meant to live, but now I think that there was probably a good reason for what had happened.  Life isn't always just sugarcanes and milk.  There comes a time when we must either move on and find our purpose in life, or die knowing nothing good will come." she said as she picked herself off of the ground.  "Frost and a hunter had found me one day and showed me kindness I thought my kind would never have.  He even took me into his life and decided to try and raise me.  He taught me to talk and voice my words, showed me how my opinions could change a single person's mind of thought.  He was the one that showed me that everyone could have a heart." she said with a gentle voice.

"also did you know he slaughtered many and not just me? That council is a joke like everything else. They had him kill thousands of humans, and others alike. If you think i'll be the only one to come for him your wrong," She breathed a heavy haze that filled the room and she flew off.

"I'm a part of that council now.  I've seen how corrupt it is and I can fix it.  I have already changed the mind of a child that had bullied others all their life and wouldn't listen to anyone.  I'm in the process of changing them right now.  Changing their discipline, changing how they think.  And I've been there about two blasted days!  I will change this, but you need to let go of the past.  We have all done something in our lives we are ashamed of, even me.  But we must look to the future and the wonders it holds for us." she said.

"The council has their own reasoning," Talia saidto herself as she walked back over to Frost and picking him up "Lets get Frost back to the cave," she said turning back to Goldenscale, "At the very least, we can find a way to keep his mind free of intuders like her."

"You go and take him back.  I'm not done here yet.  Besides, I'm not sure if I want to freeze to death just yet..." she said, sitting on the ground.

"If you fly behind me, I can keep the wind off of you. You wont freeze," Talia said stepping towards the entrance of the cave as Metraz landed. "Between the two of us, we can get back to the cave without too much trouble from the storm," Metraz said having caught the last bit of the conversation, "The council is waiting near the barrier entrance. Tieral is tacking the black dragon for an ambush later."

I already have her here.  I trapped her inside rock." she said with a wide smile.  "I'm not done talking to her yet." she said.  

"I'll stay here with you then," Metraz said walking over to Goldenscale," Who knows what she has to defend herself."

"After what I've had to deal with in the past, she wouldn't get past step one..." she said with confidence.

"With the major part of the storm still approaching, you'll still need an escort  to be able to make it back to the cave," Metraz said, "That, and I don't want to leave you out here in this weather."

"Are you serious? Are you really that cold goldenscale maybe your mother and father didn't want you because of what you are."

"I know I'm a mistake child.  But what I lack in heat, I make up for it physically as well as mentally." she said, her voice still calm.

"Let me go" she tries the mind control on Goldenscale.

Goldenscale only laughed.  "Really?  You know that won't work, right?" she said out of curiosity.

She starts to break down like a child and throws a tantrum.
