As time when by, the sky darkened as clouds formed overhead, adding to the blizzard that was already there.

"This isn't good. The storm wasn't supposed to get here until later," Talia said looking up into the clouds before turning to Goldenscale, "We don't have much time if this keeps up."

"Goldenscale, we need to head back to the cave. If the storm catches us in this, we're all done for," Tieral said telepathicaly, "I know Frost means a lot to you, but it won't do him any good if we're all frozen in this storm. At least find some place for shelter. Anything that'll keep the wind and snow off of you will due, just find some place out of the weather."

Since they were still in the forest, she immediately started to walk towards her old home underneath a tree.  Her body was now freezing bit by bit and she knew it, so she leapt the last few feet into it.  It was a deep hole underneath the roots of a tree.  Snow rarely made it underneath the first several roots.  She walked to the back and dropped to the ground, her small body shivering uncontrollably.

"We should be fine here. I'm guessing this used to be your old home. You scent is still strong here," Talia said squeezing in through the root and covering Goldenscale with her wings to preserve heat, Tieral will notify the rest of the council of the situation and task. Hopefully they'll send help for both."

Goldenscale had gone deep within her mind and didn't hear Talia speak.  She had often slept during the winter because she couldn't preserve body heat worth anything, so out in the snow, she would freeze half to death looking for food.  But her home was roomy and was able to keep out the cold.  It would take quite some time though to get her body heat up to its normal temperature.

Alura and Frost land in her home. She has him stand guard as she looks for her things. "you know Frost i was ticked that you left me but not anymore. Now we can go and be together and like ive all ways wanted. Now lets go back to that city of yours. We can fit really  good with in it. Of coarse i've got to wipe your memories of this."

"i think not you vile being," Metraz said through an illusion, "You will not be welcome in the cave."

She looks at the illusion, "O pu. What will i ever do?" she said something and the illusion was gone. she stretched out on her bed as Frost was left to guard.

Goldenscale then ran from the cave again, even though the blizzard was raging.  She had felt something close by, soon realizing that it was Frost and the other dragon.  She sneaked in and got past Frost, then creating large slabs of rock to hold down the black dragon.

The dragon kept sleeping ignoring everything she did. Frost came up behind her and pinned Goldenscale down with his foot.

"I think not Forst," Talia wispered into Frost's ear after tackling him and pressing a small pendent into his chest, "If you can hear me, fight her control. This pendent will amplify your efforts."

Frost passes out from it. the black dragon awakens and gives a look of hate to them all. "It's not nice to take something that isn't yours!"

"Taking one's free will isn't any better," Talia said wrapping the pendent's chain around Frost's neck to keep it in place, "You will pay for what you did to Frost."

Goldenscale cried out in shock and pain when she hit the ground.  "It's not nice controlling other people without their consent, destroying their homes, amend not telling the creatures around him or her where they are going.  Things could have gone better if you had just come and confronted him.  I was worried sick for him.  I even went out in the snow where I knew I would die the fastest just to look for him and make sure he's OK.  You should respect the wishes of others." she said when she got an adequate amount of breath.  

"ha really? Did he ever mention how he had left me! I fell into a pit and he just left me. He never came after days of waiting. He never came for me." She said her back against the wall.

"Ever thing that he did want to help you? With the way you take thing, I'm not surprised that he did leave you," Talia said pulling several wires from her bag and thrwing them so that they created a net over Alura, "All I see is a selfish being too caught up in the past. The council will decide your fate if Goldenscale doesn't say otherwise."
