A few seats away from Goldenscale Ahnah was working on her pot, working on adding ancient designs depitcing several stoies about nature. As she worked, Ahnah's aura gave off a deep sense of fear that originated deep within her mind.

After about an hour, the clerk came back by to check on Goldenscale. "That's pretty good for a first time pot maker. That's even a good enough quality to  put on display at a profecional's shop. You about ready to get it glazed and fired so that it holds up," she asked, watching Goldenscale work.

"As it is, this wouldn't be a usable grade pot, but it would work great as an ornamental or religious vase. This is the kind of pot you would see in paintings and the like," she said, taking a small piece of wire and running it along the surface of the wheel, separating the pot from it, "We'll need to let it dry for a moment so that it will hold its shape when wwe move it. The first coat of glaze will go on once it is dried enough."

"It's nothing, just bad memories. It's just, the last time I made anything was when I was still living in the tundra. My father  would always destroy anything I made, claoiming that they 'distracted from my duty, and should e destroyed and abandoned.' Ever since  then, I've always had this deep fear that he would somehow find me and destroy whatever it is I'm trying to make. As a result, I uncontiously avoid trying to make things," Ahnah said, dark lines of tears running down her face, "No matter how hard I try to ignore the fear, it is always there, nagging at the back of my mind as it grows until I give up."

"I know, I just can't control it. He's planted so many bad memories in my mind, it is hard to avoid them coming up. All I ever wanted  when I was young was to be happy and have good friend,but because of him I never had either until I can to this cave and met Tieral," she said, wiping the clay off her hands and washing them before splashing some water  into her face to conciel the tears, "I know he can not hurt me any more He has aged just as much as I have, but I have grown much stronger while he has likely grown weaker. The fear itself is just planted in my mind where I can't get rid of it."

"That is why I wanted to try this. I wanted to get a start on overcoming this. It will take time, but I will not give up, not until I either over come the fear, or die," she said, turning back to Goldenscale and returning the hug, "Even the longest and hardest of journies start with a simple step. This may be a small start, but it will serve as a great foundation for what is to come."

"You two must be very close," the clerk said, as she examined Ahnah's pot, "It's always good to see people showing their true feeling for each other."

"Not too many people will show such trust in others anymore. People are too afraid they will be judged and alienated for their emotions," she said, taking the piece of wire and separating Ahnah's pot from the wheel, "I wish the best for you two."

"Well, I'll have the pots ready for you two in about two hours. You can go do something else if you wish," she said.

"How about we go swimming? The water is bound to have started warming up by now," Ahnah said, nuzzling into Goldenscale's neck, "It'll be a good place to relax as well."
