"I'm not saying you don't have faith, just that you need to have more in Mayumi," she said, watching the fight, "Never hurts to go over the basics."

Goldenscale sighed when she heard what Ahnah said.  She then let herself be tossed in the air and she landed on her back.

"I guess some things just need to be realized," Ahnah said to herself, "Some things just can't be known without effort."

"Well, what do we have here," Asmada asked, stepping from the edge of the forest, "This is the first time I've seen a meeting of gryphons."

"My father had always said there was a gryphon training ground near the forest. I guess I owe him an appology for calling him a lier," he said, looking over the gryphons, "I guess I will just watch, unless there is something I can help with."

"They have to start somewhere," he said smiling back, "To tell the truth, I've neverbeen this close to a gryphon. I've only seen them off in the distance, and flying overhead."

"So long as you're sure they wont attack me," Asmada said, hesitating before fallowing Goldenscale, "I just hope they don't hold up to the reputation people seem to hold to them. Most of the large dragon societies seem to think gryphons are bloodthirsty barbarians, who will attack any dragon on sight."

"So I'm not the only one who's heard those rumors before," Ahnah said, meeting Goldenscale and Asmada at the edge of the group, "I can tell you now, they're not as bad as the rumors make them out to be."

"That's good to hear, less to wory about," Asmada said, visibly relaxing, "I'm guessing the rumors sprung up from the gryphons tamed and trained by beastkeepers."

"That's the most likely the reason," Ahnah said, stepping aside as Dara walked over to them.

"Shazhra speaks the truth. Killing without reason is not something gryphons as a whole don't  normally do.. We'd rather preserve nature and its inhabitants while sustaining ourselves," Dara said, sitting beside Ahnah, "Nothing is hunted or killed unless it needs to be."

"I think I'm just someone she knows rather than a friend," Asmada said, giving Konoki a quick nod, "I can agree with your reasoning when it comes to food." Looking back to Goldenscale, he gave a questioning look as if to ask how much he should restrain from tell.
