"You don't have to use magic to help others. I'll shpw you gow to help others another day..." she said quietly.

"I don't have much I can do short of getting into small spaces, but that's only good for so many thing," she said , letting out a tired yawn, "I still have a lot to learn about everything."

A few hours passed as Mayumi slept beside Goldenscale. Being the ffirst one awake, she looked over to see Storm and Tieral still there. "OK, we've slept enough, time to wake up you two," Mayumi said, nudging Ece and Goldenscale.

Goldenscale didn't get up, her body had locked her mind in stasis as she tried to let go of her sorrow. 

"Goldenscale, wake up, I must show you something," she said, reaching out through the vitae crystal around Goldenscale's neck and into her mind, "Please wake up. This is something that might not last long before it reverts back to normal."

Goldenscale whimpered, but responded.  Her eyes opened groggily.  "What is it..." she asked with a sigh.

"It's one of the eggs. Look," she said, holding Frost's crystal between the three eggs. As the crystal slowly swayed the egg closest to Goldenscale gave off a faint bluish light, "See, I believe Frost's soul may still be with us, even if it is in a different form now."

Goldenscale was now awake and was purring as she put her face close to the egg and smiled.  "What a pleasant thought..." she said quietly.

"It is. I think I'll name this one Frost in his memory. The name can fit both boys and girls," she said, placing the crystal in her pouch, "To think a remind of sorrow could bring such welcomed findings."

Goldenscale purred in agreement.  She then closed her eyes and began to say something in one of the dead languages.

"Rhidi came by not too long ago. When he saw you, Mayumi, and Ece asleep, he told me to tell you that he's setting up to tell stories at the orphanage, and that you could come and tell a few of the ones you know as well if you're feeling up to it," Tieral said, letting out a silent yawn, "He seemed to be hiding something, but I think that's easy enough to guess what that was."

"He's hiding what?" Goldenscale asked groggily as she gently set Ece down and stretched.

"It felt like he was trying to hide some emotion or something of the like. With everything that's happened today, I would be willing to bet my entire coin pouch that he was hiding his sorrow from the loss of Frost," Tieral said, watching as Alekai walked over and curled around Ece, "It was sur[rising to see him here until he spoke of the orphanage and telling nature stories."

"He is mourning the loss of Frost.  That's why I left.  To give him some time to mourn.  Give me a couple of minutes and I'll go join him." she said quietly.
