She then went in. "Rhidik w-wanted me..to give...this to you..." she said, trying to hold back tears as she held the crystal out to Mayumi. She had put her own reminder of him around her neck already. She had quite a few necklaces now, even though she had been there about three weeks.

Taking the necklace and holding it to her chest, Mayumi went silent as she wrapped her wings around Goldenscale as she began to cry. "H-he'll be waiting for us when our time comes......he'll always wait for us," she said quietly between breaths, "We must be strong for him."

Goldenscale began to cry as well as Mayumi wrapped her wings around her. As she cried, she curled herself into a tight ball, her body shaking as she silently cried.

Goldenscale had not heard a thing Mayumi said, she nad been enveloped in her own grief. He small body was wracked with sobs and her mind a fort so nothing could interfere.

Gathering up some bedding, Mayumi set Goldenscale down using a wing to cover her. "Rest now my child, rest is all we can do to wait this out," she said, looking over the eggs and how they reacted to the blue crystal.

Gliding over to Goldenscale, Ece landed on her shoiulder. "What's wrong Goldenscale? WHy are you so sad," she asked, both mentally and verbally, "Is there any possible way I can help?"

"You aren't useless and you aren't helpless. Here is a new place with new people that might take your help. I'm by far the youngest (not to mention smallest) council member in the cave. As a council member, I go around helping others. If you want, you could do the same, but only when you're with me. I need to make sure you are safe too." she said as she nuzzled Ece. She gave her a slight smile.

"But how can I help others? I want to help, but I have no way of helping. All I have is you, Tieral, Storm, and my pearl," she said, wrapping herself around her satchel, "All I know how to do is survive, and most of the time it only by shear luck that I suvived. What little magic I know is ment to hide or heal the user only."
