You can almost make out every detail on someone's face from across a room if you look close enough to the recording."

I know this to be fact since I had her identify an unknown potion for me."

"Smelled strongly of some sort of alcohol, the kind that laminiara makes. Ugh, it gave me such a headach because of how strong I thought it was. It was all over the place. it nearly destroyed my nose... that stuff was harsh..." she said with a sneeze.

"You might have to ask Mayumi about a potion like that," she said, handing Goldenscale a piece of worn cloth to blow her nose on, "She's been known to stay up late at night so we might be able to catch her awake. people are saying she's moved out of the cave. There's also some saying she's still attending the festival, but none have seen her today."

She thanked Clair for the cloth and blew her nose. "She hasn't been seen because she's caring for my new sisters and/or brothers..." she said.

"That's wonder full, any idea who the father is," she asked, "Even if this is old new to a lot of people, we don't get told what goes on outside the academy. We're almost completely shut away from th rest of the cave while we're in training. Sure there's the occasional visitor, but we don't usually get what's going on outside the academy walls."

Closing her eyes, Ece slowly driffted off to sleep. As her wings came around to hold the tear, a small pouch slid from her back and to the floor, making a small clink when it hit the ground.

I don't want to be nosy but I have to know who I'm caring for here, or thets what I tell myself anyway. I carefuly take the pouch, as not to wake her and open it.

Inside the pouch was a small pure white pearl around half the size of the tear Ece was curled around.

I stroke the smooth surface of the pearl and put it back in it's pouch, don't want her to hate me. I fall asleep.
