"No, other than keep on the lookout for rogues.  I'm getting tired of destroying them all on my own..." she said.

"Well, we haven't had any reports of any rogues coming to the cave," he said, "We have had a disturbing report come in last night though. A lady identifying herself as Storm brought in one of the forest locals to report a death and a murderer. While it all happened fifteen years ago, the local brought in was the murderer's father and blind even at the time it happened, we're going to keep an eye out for any signs he might be hanging around."

"I'll keep the forest on the lookout.  I'll look for his aura as well as that of any rogues' auras.  Oh, I want to make someone a citizen and one of my enforcers." she said.

"Making somone a citizen is easy, but making them an enforce, not so much. One has to go through the enforcer academy to become an enforcer.  It's something we can't work around for safety reasons," he said, "How long it will take is impossible to say. Some people breeze through the training with flying colors, and others stay in the program for several years. It all depends on how prepaired they are, and what path they choose to train in."

"Do you want me to bring him in?" she asked.

"To the academy, yes. From there, the instructer will aprais his or her abilities and place them in the apropriate program suited to the path they choose," he said, writing down the directions to the academy and handing them to Goldenscale, "If they're going through a drill, just wring the gong at the instructer's office."

She mentally called in Ricken and he came over to her.  "Wow, the council..." he said with wonder.  "This is Ricken.  I want him to be one of my enforcers." she said with a smile.

"Again, that is something the council can't grant. You'll have to take him to the academy," he said, nodding to Ricken, "Nothing against anybody, it's just the only way to know the best are protecting the council members and the cave."

"I've already been to the academy when I was younger, sirs.  And I should tell you now, I was a part of the rogue army, but it was against my will.  I am no longer a part of it because Goldenscale was kind enough to help me." he said.

"We can't take any chances. Unless you have tangible records that you passed  the academy, we can't just let you claim to be a trained enforcer. Again, nothing against you, we just can't take the chance. However if you're lucky, your records should still be in the instructor's office if he hasn't purged his records of missing enforcers," he said.

"I can't remember if I passed or not since it was so long ago, but I shall check, sirs.  Thank you for accepting me here even though my past is not the best." he said with a slight bow.

"This cave started as a refuge for those persued by humans. Your past is irelevent so long as it brings no danger to the cave or its inhabitents. Best of luck to you," he said.

"Before I leave, do any of you know where a good tatoo artist is?  I need to cover up the one that signified I was a rogue..." he said.

"You might try Meden's shop, she is praticed in all art forms. While not common, she has worked with tatoos before," he said, lowering one wing to show tatoo of a rune of peace, "You can't miss her studio. It's the most colorful building in the cave, and for very good reasons."

"Thank you all." he said with another bow.  "We shall be taking our leave then.  Good day to you all." she said with a smile.
