"But it wouldn't it be hard to carry that many eggs for even a short amount of time, not to mention how exhausting?" she said with worry.

"You'd be surprised how much a mother's body can carry when in season. While it would be uncomfortable to travel, the mother wouldn't be doing any stressful activities anyways. She would be more concerned with building a nest to keep the eggs in," Mayumi said, twisting the lock on the box till the tumbler clicked andn the box opened. Inside was a small gold egg about half the size of the three in the nest. "This is a Boon of Fetility. The reason it has no dangerous side effects is because it is a blessing from a god.There are very few ways to get these, and even fewer are the people who know how to get them. This one is part of a set. This one is for fertility, the other is for rapid and safe development."

"Ah..." she said, not wanting to question further.  "I'm guessing this is for your planet only?" she asked.

"No, I have seen people possessing these in other communities during the travels Kor and I did before settling down to have Chiei. From what I heard, it is a great deal harder to get them here than on Valenth," she said, closing the box, "Once you're old enough to have children of your own, you can ask to have the set if you feel you would use it. I don't plan on using it myself, and I would rather give it to someone that deserves it and will use it."

"That would be a long time.  I still, have to uphold the promise I made to you about not having children before you are fifty." she said.

"That was more of a joke, but that would land you at the requisite age for it to be accepted. Just remember that the boons are avaliable should if you feel you need them when that time comes," she said, setting the box off to the side and noticing the silver heart necklace Goldenscale had, "Where'd you get that? It's not offten someone brings some heart stone to the smith to make a simple necklace like that."

"I do not understand sarcasm..." she said quietly.  "Oh, Ahnah gave it to me..." she said with confidence, trying to make it seem like it was just a friendly gift.

"Can't say I disprove of her doing that, but it seems a little odd for a friendly gift. Heart stone can only be made by pouring one's love into a piece of crystal using magic," she said, stepping closer to examine the necklace, "Only one way to find out the true intentions. I've just got to focus on thecrystal inside."

Ahnah flinched slightly at Mayumi's words, not wanting Tieral to find out.

Goldenscale flicked her ears, then frowned.  "You'll have to do that later.  Konoki is calling me again for another fight.  I need to tell him I can't deal with any more fights for the remained of the time I spend here.  I might as well tell him I'm leaving for a year as well.  Sorry for having to leave.  I should be back." she said.  She then walked out and started to walk over to Konoki's location.

"Well, good evening Shazra," Mira said, landing after seeing Goldenscale on the ground, "I was just heading out to see what chelenger has chalenged you this time."

"Hopefully not a stupid one like the last one." she said.  She then went over to Konoki, nodding at her opponent.  "I can't keep on fighting all the challengers, dad.  I have to be fit and ready for my trip.  I am leaving for a year to find something.  I am not sure what, but Willow said it must take a year.  I trust her, so I can't take the risk of not being able to leave on time.  This will be my last fight this year." she told him.  Konoki frowned and sighed.  "But you are the champion, anyone who wishes to pass you must fight you." he said.  "You can be the Champion while I'm gone.  I can't fight while I'm gone or while I am getting ready for my trip." she said seriously.  "Fine..." he growled.  Goldenscale then took her place in front of the challenger.

"Once this fight is over, I need to speak with you Konoki," Mira said before turning to watch the fight.

"Alright." he said before going to the center of the grounds.  "Alright you all know the rules.  No magic, no killing, and absolutely no cheating." he yelled.  He then flew high abover their heads.  "Begin!" he screeched.  

Stepping back into the treeline, Mira watched at the fight began.

Goldenscale roared and ran at her opponent.  Her opponent did the same, but she seemed to disappear from his sight.  She was going from side to side with as much speed as she could.  When she finally slowed down, she was directly above him.  He screeched and swiped at her, but she blocked his moves with ease.  She then brought her tail to hit his side and she hit him with all the force she could.  He went flying into a tree and she went over to him, headbutting him.  He squaked and jumped up.  He went for Goldenscale again, but she was too fast for him.  She then threw him up in the air and slammed him down on the ground again.  He then didn't get up, signalling her success.  After a few minutes he did get up.  He was bruised and had cuts all along his body while Goldenscale had obtained not a single scratch.  "You might want to train a bit longer." she said with a smile.  "I'll try." he said.  "I'll be taking my leave then Konoki." she said before leaving.
