(She's fallowing behind Ricken and Tieral)

"As I've said before, I will do anything to protect Goldenscale. Whatever it is you need me to do, just say," Tieral said, stopping in front of Moonlight.

"I will begin helping you the day Goldenscale leaves. Nature and I have been debating on whether we should let Ahnah go with her to protect her, but it won't be decided for a time.  I thought I would let you know.  If you have any questions about that subject, I would be glad to answer." she said, sitting and standing tall. 

Sicken stood in disbelief.  He thought he would never gwet the hoinor of being in the presence of the Earth's spirit.  His mouth stood agap as he looked at her in wonder.

"I only have one question, why Ahnah," he asked,  noticing Ricken's expresion and chuckling a little, "I can understand why Metraz was not chosen. With you starting to help me gain peace with my forms when she leaves, I can understand that too, but why Ahnah?"

"Seeing as she is a different species of dragon, one found in the North, I thought she would be able to help Goldenscale navigate to the chosen destination.  She has never left the forest here, so she doesn't know what could be out there or what to expect." she said with a straight face.  "And she trusts Ahnah, as she does all her enforcers.  I do not want to pair her with another that she does not know.  I don't want her to be uncomfortable during the trip.  It would keep her uneasy and she wouldn't be able to focus."

"Then that is all I need to know," he said, looking back to Ahnah with a smile, "Travel is always made easier when there's someone who know what they're doing helping you along. Maybe while she's gone, I might do some traveling of my own once you're done helping me."

"I... I'll meet up with you two at Mayumi's place," Ahnah said, trying to keep herself calm as she left.

Moonlight nodded to Ricken and Tieral before following Ahnah.  "Ahnah, is something the matter?" she asked her.

"Honestly I was surprised," frost announced. "I'm not the best but I hope that I can meet the needs of our community."

"Nothing's wrong, it just fills me with joy knowing there's a possibility I might be going with Goldenscale on her journey. It also fills me with fear that I might do something wrong," Ahnah said, taking the toy Goldencale had given her and holding it close, "I'm afraid I might change her against her will."

"Perfection is the stagnation of life. All we ask is that you do your best," Mira said, pushing her way to the front of the croud, "Those of us who voted for you know you will do your best, and restor glory to this community."

"The true reason I chose you for that was for you to spend time with Goldenscale.  She might change her mind, but she might not.  She is as unpredictable as the stars themselves.  I knew this would bring happiness to you, and make it so that you both would be able to spend time with each other." she said with a wink and a sly smile.

"But she already has Tieral. It wouldn't be right I took her from him, it would be making enemies with him," she said, closing her eyes, "Even though Alekai is not of their flesh and blood, the already have him as theirs. He sees them as his parents, and that is enough of a reason for me to not sepparate Tieral and Goldenscale. I've seen what damage can be done by such a divide in the eyes of many children during my journey here. It's a pain I don't want anyone to go through, not even a machine."

"How often does Goldenscale change her mind about what she thinks and does.  Earlier, you tried to keep her from knowing what you felt about her, yet she was persistent and wanted to know.  How easily do you think she would change her loyalty to Tieral?  We only want you to be happy.  If you do not wish this, you must tell me in these exact words, 'Moonlight, I do not wish to accompany Goldenscale on her trip.'. You do not have to say so now, but you have until the day she leaves.  If you say that before she leaves and wish to change your mind, you have until the day after she left to tell me." she said.  "We have your best interest at heart dear.  What kind of world spirit would I be..." she added quietly.

"I want to go, but I'm afraid she'll change.She may be stuborn, but a years worth of time can do a lot to someone's mind. Even the most sturdy of structures will fall when given enough time," she said, holding the toy out and looking into its button eyes, "Time can also build and strengthen. The tallest of mountains took time to be made. There's a chance her loyalty to Tieral could be made stronger by her time away, but the opposite is also true."

"As I said before.  She is unpredictable.  Nothing that has been said applies to her.  She isn't any normal child." she sighed.  "If you won't go for that, then think about it has a girl's trip.  She has never been around many females,so she doesn't really act like one.  She isn't afraid to kill mercilessly, nor is she afraid to do the work of a male.  She has made herself stronger than the average male somehow.  She needs to learn a few feminine touches to rough out her sought edges.  One thing you could probably teach her is to stop letting anger dictate her actions.  But if you still don't want to go, you have to tell me those exact words.  And I've been thinking, she may go somewhere in Tue middle.  She may be loyal to Tieral, but she will become closer to you as well.  Thought her decisions may be black and white, her mind thinks in shades of gray."

"Then I will go. We both have something we can teach each other. I can teach her to 'how to be female,' and she can teach me her skills in combat," she said, closing her eyes tight as she put the toy away, ice forming around her eyes from her tears, "She will aslo need someone who knows how to treck across terain of all sorts since she's never been out of this forest as you've said.I don't really have any reason to stay here and wait for her to return."

"I do have a question.  Why are you so afraid of her changing?  It is not like she will majorly change.  And I know you both would enjoy being in each others company no matter what happens." Moonlight said.  "Nothing about her escapes me.  I understand a lot about how all species think, learn...and love, my dear.  You shouldn't pass up any sort of chance to get to know her under circumstances like that.  You should not fear change, because we all do change eventually." she said.
