"Yes, I try to stay by her side as often as I can. She means everything to me, and I would do anything for her," Tieral said, still carrying the black crystal, "I only hope she doesn't see me for the monster I can become."

I walked through the door and the barriers liquis feels cold on my scales, the animals can't enter as their souls are not pure. Afraid that I might set the house on fire I make my way into the room. "So, I know I look fabulas in my fire makeover" I say jokingly "but I might need some help" I say and gesture towards the animals patiently waiting at the door and myself "what happenes when this ends?" I ask the question that has been troubling me. "And how the hell did this happen?" all of the joking voice has dissapered without a trace.

"You have some elemental energy locked away in you. Something must have activated it," Mayumi said, placing a claw on Storm's forehead and drawing the flames off her skin and into the claw, "Elemental energy tends to be violent when released after being locked away for so long." Stepping back over to Goldenscale, Mayumiran her claw over each wound, healing each one as she distributed the energy."

Goldenscale continued to lay unconscious on the ground.

"Knowing her, she probably won't.  She finds the best in everyone..." he said quietly.

"After her seeing me like that, I can't say either way. I can only hope for the best," Tieral said, pressing through the barrier, "I wouldn't blame her for seeing me as a monster after that. Even I'm afraid of myself whem i'm like that."

"But even she has a dark side.  I have seen it.  She changes too, though her body color stays the same.  She's scary when she's like that..." he said.  

"I'll just have to hope neither come between us. I've already lost someone because of it, I don't want ot loose her," Tieral said, clenching the crystal till his hand started to bleed, "I don't want to loose anyone ever against because of it."

"Don't clench that so hard..." he said gently, putting a hand over his bleeding one and healing the cut.  "If taking a knife to the side and getting an arrow stuck that deep doesn't kill her, then I don't know what will..." he said, trying to reassure him.

"That's not what I'm worried about loosing her as. I'm worried I might loose her emotionally. I know she'll live through this, she's lived through worse," he said, still clenching the crystal but not as hard, "After watching it kill my father and running from my mother a month later, I don't want to loose anyone in any way. It's been hard enough knowing the things I can do when I loose control due to too much dark energy."

"Why did you change in the first place then?" he asked.

"It is something I can't control. As soon as I come in contact with dark energy, I change. My body channels light and dark energy freely. Gather too much of either and I change depending on the energy there is too much of," he said, pulling a white crystal from his satchel and handing it to Ricken, "Both are dangerouse, and I have little control over what they do."

"Well let's light this shall we," frost says a weary.

"If there was a way for you to be able to control it or get rid of it, would you do what it takes, or let Goldenscale do it?" he asked.  If he is always around her, then he might hurt her if she's around him with either energies.

"If it required a task I could perform, then I would do it myself. I've been looking for a way to gain more control over the forms, but they require materials and magic not seen in this region for thousands of years," Tieral said, stopping at the willow and picking up Alekai before heading to Mayumi's house, "I would rather have control over the forms than get rid of them. While dangerous, they hold powers that could be used for good. My dark form has greatly increased strength and endurance, andmy light form has increased regerative and curative powers."

Outside the council building, he festival croud was busy having a good time with the activities and generally building the festival's atmosphere. The croud grew silent as the council members led Frost to the podium where one took. "To celebrate the start to this year's spring festival, the council as a whole would like to introduce our newest member and new head of council. The votes have been counted, and your choice has been heard. Frost, welcome to the council, please take your place at the podium,"the councilmember said, stepping back down from the podium and offering it to Frost, "Anounce to the public what you feel should be said about the vote."

"Then I could help you." a voice said.  Moonlight then walked out of then trees, making herself seen to both Tieral and Ricken.  "While Goldenscale is away, I could help you to achieve peace with both of your forms."
