"Before I open this, I want to show you something," Mayumi said, motioning for Goldenscale to get closer as she took the box.

Goldenscale got closer, sitting down the best she could with the wounds on her sides and thigh.

"Say hello to your three, to be, siblings," she said, moving her wing to show the three yellow eggs.

"They may only be within the first day of development, but you can still sense their auras. I wanted you to see them so you could know how much bigger the family is going to be," she said with a smile, "With the recent turn of events, I'm sure they'll all survive long enough to see you return and well beyond that."

"I'm guessing whatever has you worried is the same thing that ijured you. You'd have to take up the details of when you leave with the willow since I'm not the one who set them in the first place," she said, taking the necklace from the box and putting it on, "Thank you the necklace though. It's beautiful. I'll need to place a preservatoin enchantment on it to keep it from oxidizing, but that's an easy fix."

"Oxidizing?" she asked confusedly.  

Frost smiles at them both happily.

"Silver and iron tarnish and rust respectivly. Silver will turn a bright nesty looking green, and iron will become brittle and turn an almost dirt brown. Most metals will do that, but iron and silver are probably the most suseptable. This should give you a good idea what happens," she said, pulling a rusted piece of tubing from a near by box and handing it to Goldenscale, "Now, I think Frost has something he would like to show you."

Goldenscale immediately put it back hissing.  "I don't like the erosion of perfectly good earthen material...  What is it you want to show me, dad?" she asked.

"Its noyhing ," he says not really wanting to say.

"Oh, OK..." she said, looking away.  "Well, I'm going to leave then..." she said as she got up and went to the door.  "Don't expect me at the festival this morning.  I might, but the again I might not." she said, giving no hints as to why she wouldn't be there.  She then left, closing the door behind her.

"Frost, why don't you go to the council now? They'll want you there fo when the  decision is announced," Mayumi said, looking to Frost, "I can take care of things here."
