The leader soon died from the electricity coursing through him and he slumped to the ground.  All of the dragons knew they were loosing, but they didn't stop fighting.  Several of their comrades had died in battle, but they died fighting with their leader.  Finally both dragons broke from their fighting and slid back, blood pouring from their multiple wounds.  "You should have died when I left you to!" the purple dragon yelled as a beam of red fire burst from one hand and was directed to the child.  "But you will die first!" she screamed, green fire firing from her own.  Both collided and now it wasa fight of pure will and power.   "Flee while you can my minions, flee and find your brethren." the purple dragon said.  "Leave while you can." Goldenscale yelled at her enforcers.  The opposing dragons soon fled the scene, their auras disappearing.  "They shall die with you!" the necromancer yelled as she shot fire at Ahnah, Tieral, and Metraz.  "DIE!"Goldenscale screamed as her power increased and the flame began to push back her opponent's.  The necromancer had to turn her full attention on Goldenscale now because of the power surge.  With a final roar, Goldenscale's fire reached the purple dragoness's and she hissed in pain.  "I will return, child." she said.  An explosion soon followed as the fire came I to contact with the gas she used to disappear.

"I have nothing and am nothing," the blue dragoness, whispered to herself, olblivious to what was going on around her, her electric aura slowly fading as she pulled from from the leader.

Moving away from the fleeing dragons, the spectral warriors ran straight into the blasts fired at Metraz, Ahna, and Tieral, taking the shots before they disappeared. Ahnah fell to the ground, exhausted, dropping the bone she wielded.

"We need to get you back to safety," Tieral said, rushing over to Goldenscale once the area was clear, Metraz fallowing close behind.

Goldenscale got up instead. Her eyes still glowed red from her anger.  "No.  Is anyone hurt?" she asked.  She didn't care about her own wounds at the moment, only getting rid of her anger.  She first went over to Ahnah and placed a hand on her side, giving her strength.  She got up again and went over to the blue dragoness.  "You are not nothing and you do have something.  I see a kind and strong dragon before me that has a wonderful life ahead of her." she said kindly to her as sheheald her wounds.  She then went over to Tieral and Metraz and healed their wounds.  "Anything else I should be concerned with?" she asked.

"Only yourself at this point. We can take care of any remaining wounds. I'm more concerned about the dragoness there," Tieral said gesturing over to the blue dragones, "I mean, she stripped herself and the necromancer leader of their scales. He wounds may be healed, but she's still very vonerable without her protective scale."

"I may be something, but I have nothing. Not since my children were taken from me. I only came to keep those necromancers away from their helpess bodies," she said, her eyes glowing from the remaining electricity in her, "I have a clean slate to work with. No criminal record, no attachment to anything but a grave and pained memories. I only ask if there is a place you know of that would take me in, and where it is from here."

When Ahnah retieved her bone, the spectral warriors appeared around her. Each warrior held a similar bone out to intersect with Ahnah's before fading away once more. "May I never need the protection of my ancestors again," Ahnah said, holding her bone close.

"You may return with us." Goldenscale said.  She then formed a green circle around her body.  Closing her eyes and taking a deep breath, a green light swirled around her gently, healing as many wounds as she could before he magic left.  She healed a few of her worse wounds as well as the smaller wounds.  The rest of her injuries she bound with vines.  "Come, we have wasted enough time here.  I would rather not encounter them again should they get enough courage to return." she said.  She had gone back to her normal self, her eyes their normal colors, her comblike tail returned, her mane and wings turned back to normal.  Her body was getting weaker, sleep trying to take over because of her 36 hour waking streak and her exhaustion from fighting the necromancer.  "You will be welcomed at the cave.  In the morning we will make you a citizen.  And just in time for the Spring Festival." she said with a smile, holding a hand out to the dragoness.

"I'll try to be as usefull as I can then. I wont be much help until my scales grow back though," she said, taking Goldenscale's hand, sending a light jolt of energy due to the electric energies bult up in her, "My name is Ria. The humans wanted my children and me as weapons, but those that captured and tortured us no longer exist. Some lines should never be crossed."

"We are not so different from what humans see us both as.  And where we are going, you'll do just fine." she said, taking the jolt of energy and converting it to energy her body could use.  "Follow me, Ria.  My name's Goldenscale by the way." she said as she began to walk in the direction of the cave.

"You look familiar. Kind of like a silver dragon I saw earlier this morning. She never came back by after I said she could stop by later," Ria said, limping as she fallowed Goldenscale, "Maybe she lives in this place you speak of."

"That was me.  On the first day of spring, I made it my duty to grow as many flowers as possible.  I'm sorry I wasn't able to come back.  I was busy today, wnlike any other day.  I've been up for 36 hours now completing my mission and a couple others.  As long as the flowers grow there, their grave will be protected.  I protect the whole forest surrounding the mountain." she said.

"Thank you for giving such protection. It's hard enough on me knowing my little ones never got to have a true chance at life, I don't need something using them for something other than memories," she said, shaking as a cold breeze blew by as the snow barrier came into view, "With them in memory, I wish to start a new family. One that will stay together, and live."

Goldenscale gasped when she remembered the toy she had won earlier that day and couldn't feel it in her wing.  "The cave is that way.  You are welcome to stay in my home until you are all situated.  Tieral could show you where it is.  I have to go look for something." she said with a warm smile.

"Alright, I will see you later then,"  she said before fallowing Tieral.

"You must have dropped this when they grabbed you," Ahnah said as she held out the toy, a strange warm aura radiating from within, "There's something strange about it though. Just holding it makes me feel calmer. It's not like any other calming enchantment I've ever felt before."

"It is calming, isn't it." she said as she took the toy and cuddled it.  It was a special toy for it was her first.  "Thank you, Ahnah." she said.  She then held out the toy.  "I want you to have it." she said.

"Yes, it is very calming, but you should keep it. I would only loose it," she said, shaking her head, "I can tell by the way you hold it that it is special to you. I would not want to take such a piece from you."

"I want you to have it though.  I know it would go to a good home as well." she said, still holding it out.
