"My attempt was to fuse both waking and dream realms on Valenth. Not only would that do away with death by age, it would also do away with just about all kinds of suffering. The only problem they have with the idea is that the dangers of the Reverie are much greater than the waing realm and the complete unpredictability of the landscape," he said, holding onto the miracrystal hanging around his neck, "There are ways to stablize the Reverie's landscape, but very few know how. "

"The dangers are the dreamkin, the local residence of the Reverie, and the land itself is always changing to reflect the nearest sentient mind. One moment the land could be flat, and the  next moment it could be and entire mountain range or a complicated maze. There are powerful magics that can freeze the land in a specific form but again, very few know the magic," he said, "As for the dreamkin,  there are elementals of both physical properties and the building block of nature, and a whole host of other creatures. The main threat would be the leupaks born in the Reverie rather than in the waking world. They tend to be more dangerouse and bizzarly shapped. They are the darkest creatures of your nightmares."

"Very good guess. You must be this world's version of Great Mother Opus. A keeper of emotions and life. Correct me if I'm wrong," he said, turning to this new dragon, "I wish to help my dear oll friend, but the only way to do that is to do away with death and age."

"They have very good reasons to be against it. I'm essentially asking them to migrate to an entirely different planted that has similarities to theirs," he said, releasinf his miracrysta, "If only Opus was still alive. Everything became worse when she died, but her sacrifice has keept Valenth from falling into an early demise."

"I wish it was that easy, but Opus can never be replaced. She was a direct creation of the Fatis Mirajin, the very heart of Valenth. The only way she can be replaced is if the replacement is born from the grand crystal like she was," he said, shaking his head, "The Fatis Mirajin has been dormant ever since her death. With her death, two of Valenth's species died with her. With no keeper of life and emotion, the people became more hostile toward us Chapters. Right now, i'm looking for a way to save Kelan from his sight, but it's proving to be a harder task than expected."

When Opus died, I had to move the crystal into the Reverieto protect it from harm," he said, slowly turning into a creature that looked as though it was part of the night sky, "I will warn you though, if the Fatis Mirajin does reactivate, there's no tell what effects it might have you or Goldenscale. Kelan, Bastion, and I were the only mortals to come in contact with it, and we were made immortal. I have no idea what it might do to an immortal being."

•We shall take that risk, won't we my dear Guardian?• she said with a smile. "Yep. But I am a mortal, so I shall face this task and I will try to succeed!" Goldenscale replied. She only hoped she wouldn't be made immortal. That would make her fo mad... just like Kelan...
