"Pretty soon, but you still have time to decide what you're going to say. These afternoon meetings may not be public, but there will still be plenty of people there," Mayumi said taking the tray and setting it on the table against the wall, "Once you make your decision clear at the meeting, ther's no second chance. The council assumes that your presented decision is final."

"What am I going to be saying," she said.  

"What you say is your choice. The council has offered to induct you into their ranks. It's your choice if you join them or not," Mayumi said, "I would not know how to go about what to say either way. This is something I'll never be offered."

"I think I'll wait until I get there to figure out what to say.  I do better improvising." she said with an embarrased laugh.

Pausing for a moment, Mayumi stared at Goldenscale then shook her head. "We all work best under different conditions. Whenever you're ready to head to the meeting, come tell me. I'll be in the main room, I need to think things over and clear my mind," she said before leaving the room once more.

Goldenscale looked down at the floor and once again put her head on her paws as she thought.  

Sitting down behind the counter, Mayumi possitioned herself into a half meditative stance before closing her eyes, and drifting off into a calm state of mind for the next hour and a half.

"Mayumi, I'm ready to go." Goldenscale yelled.

"Alright, alright, you didn't have to yell," Mayumi said walking back into the room to help Golden scale up.

Frost waits by the door but there are more than just one of him. They all smile at the two waiting.

(Ok take it easy :) ) "well it's better to have some eyes out for you."

"He means that it's better to have more than one person watching out for danger. The more people watching for it, the less it happens," Mayumi said before loking back to Frost, "We'll need as many people watching if we want to be completely safe from anything the council could throw at us."
