"Well, looky here. Our first winner of the day," the clerk said, picking up and restackaing the pins. "Now, what prize would you like," he said pointing up to the rows of stuffed animals of all sorts and sizes, "Your pick since you had one ball left."

Goldenscale looked over the toys and pointed the one she liked.

"Here you go," he said, pulling the prize down and handing it to Goldenscale, "Come play again whenever you like. I'll be here all week."

"Thank you." she said with a smile.  She purred and walked on to another booth.  She was going to get something for Mayumi now, then Frost, then Alekai, then Tieral.  She had a whole set of toys for her new siblings she had hidden for when they hatched.  "What's this?" she asked.  

"This is mochi, a simple treat made by pounding rice into a past," the clerk said, "taking the cover off a heated plate to show the food, "First piece is free for council members and newcomers to the cave."

"May I try a little bit of it please?" she asked.

"Sure, what kind," she asked, running a claw over the labels say the kinds, "I have just about every kind there is."

Frost follows the guard to the designated location. His ice turning into formal wear all around his body.

"Good to see you Frost. we have a surprise for you," a council member said once Frost arrived, "First, we must ask you to resist telling Mayumi. She wil be informed tomarow."

"There are different kinds?  Mind is blown...  What kinds are there?" she asked.

"Mostly it's just different ways of cooking up the rice cakes, but there are some that have added flavoring by the use of broths and herbs," she said, opening the grill she was using to koor the mochi, "There's also some that are made by using different parts of the rice grain."

"Mind is blown...  I didn't know that a single food had so many different flavors..." she said.

"You're welcome to sample each if you can't make up you mind," she said, preparing to cut samples from each.

"What would you say your favorite one is?  From that I'll decide." she said.

"Personally, I like the baked coastal kind. It uses the bulk of the grain and is soaked with beef broth and lightly salted water," she said, "It goes great with just about any fruit drink."
