Goldenscale wasn't paying any attention to anything.  She was chanting in an unknown language, roots wrapped around her arms, wings outstretched, and tail swishing around.    Power began to encircle her as it had so many times before as she began to summon the same demons that had taken Kokkorok's wife and kids.  *Stay back here, Tieral!* the willow said as she wrapped vines around him and pulled him back into the barrier.

*I can't let her go without protection,* he said, trying to pull free of the roots, *Please, no one should ever face a demon alone, let alone multiple demons."

"What do we have here," an unnatural growl like voice asked as a demon emerged from the ground, grabbing at some invisible line that seemed to pull at Goldenscale every time it swipped its hands out, "Another soul wlling to be taken, and one bound to nature no less. What a treat."

*Have faith in your lover.  You act like she is weak.* Willow said.  "And who says it's for taking?" she says in a mature voice that seems more graceful than her normal one, yet the same voice.  She got up off of the ground and stood to face them, a mist-like power covering her arms.  From the power, symbols began to glow on her shoulders and face.  "I want the souls you took, one of a female dragon and of the children.  And if thou know who I am, then I suggest doing it now." she said confidently, not one ounce of fear in her mind or voice.

Konoki felt the presences of the demons.  "No!  What has she done!  She'll die before she survives one minute!" he yelled as he ran towards her, only to be trapped in more vines like Tieral.

"So, what happens when we cut this little bind you have on your soul hmm," the voice said, as the demon grabbed hold of the bind itself and pulling on it, "One little flower wont protect you from us. We precede the magic you wield. We know all its trick and weaknesses. If you want the soulds, you'll have to pry them from our body. Kill us, and they're all gone, never to be recovered."

"Then I'll do it.  I may be only fourteen years of age, but I have powers stronger than you think." she said.  In the moment of a second, her power flared incredibly and a silvery outline of a pure white dragon four times Goldenscale's size appeared around her body, it's outline soon disappearing.  She then laughed maniacly, the insane part of her talking over.  "I'm going to take those soils from you then tear you all apart personally." she said with an evil grin on her face.

Seeing the outline, the demon began twisting and bending the faint line it was holding causing Goldenscale's connection to the flower to warp  with each pull."Aren't you just a treat? You actually think you have a chance," the voice said, "Any closer and you'll be finding you connection to nature noexistant."

Goldenscale tried to keep from showing anything, but it was making her mad that he would think of her as a weakling.  She then burst into song, as she fought back against his pull as and attacking this creature spiritually using the spirit's power, the forest's power, and her own.

"As the dark begins to rise, save your breath it's far from over, leave the lost and dead behind, now's your chance to run for cover.  I don't want to change the world, I just want to leave it warmer, light the fuse and burn it up, take the path that leads to nowhere.  All is lost again, but I'm not giving in.  I will not bow, I will not break, I will shut the world away.  I will not fall, I will not fade, I will take your breath away..."

The demon released the line as soon as it felt the power starting to flow through."Looks like we have ourselves a fighter, and look, it can sing too. This aught to be fun," the voice said, emerging from the demon as a second creature similar to the first.

At the word fight, Goldenscale's wings and mane turned from fur and feathers into a bright white flame as she called upon her vital fire.  "I told you, mmy soul is not for taking.  And this should be very fun." she said with an evil grin.  "And I'm not an it, so don't dare call me one, demon." she said with a frown.

"Ah, such misguided spirit in this one. Reminds me of the pair from ten years ago. Thought their love would pprotect them," a second voice said with a laugh, "When will these dragons learn? You can't fight without a soul." Crouching down, the two demons faded into an almost spirit like state and lunged at Goldenscale, claw outstretched.

  "And who says I have a soul?  It may seem like I have one, but I may not." she said.  Blades made entirely of her power erupted from her forearms and she blocked their attack.  She then sent a powerful wave of energy at them.

The first demon was sent flying as the secod demon sank its etheral claws into Goldenscale''s skin without leaving a mark as it began to try pulling her spirit free.

Goldenscale only laughed as she made an energy explosion, surrounding the demons and Goldenscale in a powerful, blinding white light.

Being hit by the blast of light forced the demons back into their corperal states as well as stunning the one that had been right next to Goldenscale. The first demon shook off the effects of the blast quickly, and jumped and grabbed the white crystal from around Goldenscale's neck. "What's this, a small piece of one's soul no belonging to you," it said jumping back to a safe distance, "What a nice little snack this will make after this is all over."

"I'm not done yet..." she hissed, soon disappearing.  She then reappeared in front of the two demons and shoved her hands into their chests and using her tail to grab back her crystal, her insanity now keeping her moving and thinking.  "Let's see where I can find those souls." she hissed as she sent the power surging through them.  She made sure it would hurt them, bit find the other souls and pull them out.
