Goldenscale turned her head to the side in confusion.

Frost just grins at the question, "she's fine but matters will be seen in a few months."

"I'm not going to be here in a few months..." she said miserably.

"What!" Frost looks at her concerned.

"It's something that will take a year to complete from what I've been told," Tieral said, picking up Alekai, "I'm not sure what it's for right now."

"Oh then I'll tell you then mayumi is pregnant.

"WHAT!!!!" she yelled.  She jumped up, but hit her head on the top of the small cavity under the tree instead.  She crawled out of the cavity and waved her hands like mad, unable to find words.  Finally she stopped and looked at Frost with up most confusion.  "When was this decided?..." she asked.

"It was done last night. Hence why Mayumi asked if you could leave. Also i wanted to surprise you like you did me." Frost said sitting and watching alekia.

Goldenscale growled in annoyance.  "I try to help someone out and now I learn that I'm going to be gone for that.  I can't change the time I leave either.  What a wonderful big sister I'm going to be..." she grumbled.  She then began to make an angry humming sound.*We're sorry, Goldenscale.  We'll try to find a way for you to be there when they hatch.* the willow said.  Goldenscale continued to grumble.

Frost comes over and hugs her. "They arn't going to be mad. They will if their sister doesn't come and see them."

*But that's the thing.  She can't come back home at all until the year is finished.  We may be able to bring her there spiritually for the hatching, but other than that there may be nothing for us to do about that.*the willow said.  "And how will they know I'm their sister?  I look nothing like any dragon in this cave..." she said.

"They'll be fine knowing that you'll be doing a great thing for someone," Mayumi said when she walked in, wrapped in the quilt Frost had given her earlier, "How you look is something they won't care about. They'll only care to know if you're their sister or not. No matter what, you'll be a sister to them."

"When I tell them, yeah.  But when I come home, standing at the mouth of the cave, will they know that their sister has returned?  They probably won't.  There's the possibility they could remember the spirit from their hatching and tie it to me, but that's unlikely." she said with a sigh.  "Why am I arguing anyways.  I'm not going to really be there."

"We''ll tell them. I know I'll be making a carving of you. If I could find the right paints, it could be perfect for them to learn who you are with," she said stepping over to Goldenscale, "I'll make sure they know who you are before your return."

Goldenscale got up and hugged Mayumi.  "I just don't want to be thought of as a bad sister because I wasn't there for them in their first days..." she said.
