"I'm not going to ask what a 'vital fire' is. Tieral is without poisoning and that's all that matters right now," she said, "He's the youngest enforcer to date. Here he is, only eleven years old, and he's already facing dangers most adults don't have to face."

"That's why I do most of my work alone.  I am by far the strongest, so I like to deal with spirits and the like alone for the sake of others.  I also have a higher chance at surviving wounds worse than you can imagine.  I've survived having my spine snapped in half, getting a knife stuck into my side, being poisoned, a lot of things and I still have no chance at meeting death.  It's like even he doesn't want me on his doorstep.  Bit that's what makes me better for protecting everyone than any enforcer.  Protecting others is more important I think than my own life.  Which reminds me I have to go patrolling." she said, grunting as she got up.  "I'll be back." she said as she flew to the floor of the main cave and walked out, still with her heavy limp.

"I'll come with you. With Tieral, out for who knows how long, and Metraz off on dealing with family with your permision, I'm the only one who's still unoccupied by one thing or another," She said fallowing Goldenscale, "I don't want to leave you on your own with your current injuries, even if you've survived worse."

"Alright." she said.  "Just keep up." she said with a smile.  She then flew into the air and began to fly all around the border she put around the forest.

"I'm awar of the race you had with Tieral. So long as you don't start trying to race me, I can keep up," she said flying beside Goldenscale, "You training has prepared you well for the world. Metraz, Tieral, and I might have to train under you some time."

"I train hard and I've trained for years." she said, slowing down.  "For racing, I have obstacle courses; for fighting I normally fight against other species since I'm the champion and they need to fight me to get past their stage.  But I'll find something we could use for practice." she said with a smile.  "I have to train other enforcers to do the small thing anyways, so you could join in."

"Small thing," she asked, "I was not aware that you were to teach something to the enforcers."

"It was after that giant fight with those undead creatures that attacked the cave.  I was able to race against those creatures though they were pretty fast and lead it to take most of the damage, but afterwards I suggested that the enforcers practice to be faster and more efficient in both magic spells and fighting techniques.  But due to the fact I am never fully healthy, I've never gotten to doing that." she said with a frown.

Back at the cave, "mayumi do you think she's alright?" He asks taking the dishes away.

"I see. Well, maybe now we can have some peace long enough for you to recover completely," she said looking down, scanning the ground, "Magic was a optional thing for enforcers since not everyone could controle it."

"She'll be fine. Talia was using healing magic on her when they left," Mayumi said as she settled down on the bed, "I'm ready whenever you are."

Frost comes in and starts to kiss.

Goldenscale finished her patrol, seeing nothing but a couple downed tree trunks and taking the wood for her carvings and went back to her home.  She then brought out her carving kit and placed it in her carving room.  She then put the spare wood in her storage room and began to carve something from the wood with the knives.

"Don't you think it's a bit late to start carving," Talia said sitting by the entrance and watching Goldenscale work with the wood.

Tieral started moving as he woke. Before he could stand, he fell back down as he started having a coughing fit.

Goldenscale set he objects down and limped over to Tieral.  "Don't move unless you have to, and you don't have to." she said quietly, bringing over some water for him.  "And no it isn't too latte for carving."

"How long have I been out," he asked, his voice a quiet whisper in Goldenscale's mind as he took a drink of water, calming the the coughing, "Where are we?"
