She flicked her ears.  "YesnI do have to go.  Konoki'a calling me, but it's unknown what he wants me for..." she said.  "I should be back soon." she said, running from the cave at to Konoki's location.

"Feel something wrong," Talia asked as she fallowed Goldenscale, having saw her run from the cave, "Could there be something I can help with?"

"I don't know.  Konoki could just be. WHAT THE HELL!!!" she yelled, quickly dodging a gryphon's attack.  "What is the meaning of this!!!!" she screamed, dodging the gryphon.  Konoki was trying as hard as possible to try and get at the piebald gryphon, but was unsuccessful.  He finally managed to inflict a gash across her eye, and Goldenscale reared up with a loud roar.  Now enraged, she ran at the gryphon, pinning him down.  Four gryphons pulled Goldenscale off of the piebald while three more tried to hold him down.  Konoki the screeched, hoping another dragon would come to hold Goldenscale down.  She was thrashing around uncontrollably, trying to get at the other gryphon.  It was getting harder to hold her down, considering she was so much stronger than them.

"Calm down GOldenscale, we don't know what's going on here," Talia said land next to her and adding her strength to those who were holding her, "Calm down before you hurt yourself or some close to you."

She continued to thrash around, now yelling in some language.  "What is a blasted dragon doing here, Konoki!?  I thought Shazhra was coming!" he yelled, struggling to get free.  Goldenscale calmed slightly.  "This is Shazhra." Konoki replied with a frown.  "A dragon is the Champion!  Absolutely disgraceful!  She isn't a gryphon, and she never will be!  I will never respect her!" he yelled, getting g free and attacking Goldenscale.  Goldenscale gotmfree of the gryphons and Talia and attacked back with much more ferocity than the piebald.   She was going to make sure he's never going to do this again.  

"What's going on here," Talia asked, making her way to sit beside Konoki, "I don't know what to do here. If I can't hold her back, there's nothing I can do to help."

"I down,t know either.  One second the piebald wants to just talk to her, the next he's trying to kill her.  The best thing that should happen is his death." Konoki said with worry.  Goldenscale finished him off with a fiery explosion and walked away, limping heavily and bleeding heavily from the gash across her eye and side.  As she walked away, she began to curse like a sailor, obviously mad to no end.

"I'd be get back to her, the wounds look deep," she said before rushing back to Goldenscale and starting a light healing spell that quickly cleared of the gash across her eye, "You think you'll be alright? What was that fight all about anyways, if you don't mind me asking."

"I'm fine." she growled.  "That blasted bryphon decided to attack me which is very abnormal.  If you want a fight, you first see if you can, not just go running into one.  His motives were obviously not premeditated, but that is no reason to just attack on sight." she growled again.  At least she could see again.  She still began to limp back to the cave, using a masking spell to hide her wounds.  She then flew in the cave to grab Tieral, Alekai, and the journal and deposited them backmat her home.  She was pretty sure she left blood on the floor, but there was nothing she could do about it.  She then went to the hack of her cave and laid there.

"Konoki said that they had wanted to speak to you at first, but you know the rest of the story," she said, working to stop the bleeding, "I agree with your way of thinking though. Why attack something that you have no chance of living against. With his attitude, he deserved what came to him, he brought it on himself."

She began cursing like a sailor again, but only mumbled it to the point of it being incomprehensible.  It made her mad to just think he would try doing something so stupid.  She snorted then fell silent.  

"Are you OK mom," Alekai asked worriedly, picking up on Goldenscale's sour mood, "Did something happen?"

""Leave her be little one. This is something you don't need to heard at your age," Talia said, patting Alekai's head then turned back to GOldenscale, "Can I ask what happened to Tieral?"

"Tieral was poisoned by a fairy named the Fogman while he was trying to help me.  He was planning on taking me and using my magic to do something that would cause great damage.  I was unconscious at the timeand didn't realize it until it was over." she said, leaving out the bit about being poisoned herself.

"That explains why he's knocked out. Mayumi must have given him some powerful antidote," she said walking over to Tieral and shifting him into a recovery position, "He looks a little burnt though."

"Mom used her vital fire to burn the poison from him since she didn't have any antidote for it at the time." she said.
