"You being in existance is the only thing the world needs of you. You are free to live how you want. You just lean towards helping others," he said taking a ;arge purple crystal from his shirt and looking into it, "Nothing is stopping you from achieving your goals. On Valenth, there have been many like you spiritually, but none of them went about life in the same way. The only restriction you have is the maximum distance you can be from the flower."

"That and my own lifespan..." she said quietly.  She slid to the ground again and began to cry silently.  "Why me...." she asked herself quietly.

"Your lifespan does not restrict you. Use the time given to you to accomplish whateveer goal you please," he said as he started to fade, "There are plenty of people who will support you in whatever you decide to do. Think not of negative forces in this world, they will only cause you pain like they do now."

Goldenscale remained silent and curled up in a tight ball, continuing to cry.  The trees whispered their condolences, built they knew nothing could fix it, unless...

"If only ther was something I could do for you Goldenscale," he said as he sat beside Goldenscale, "I just have no idea how I could help you."

"There is nothing I can do either..." she said sadly.  She sighed and got up.  "I might as well go back and fall back asleep.  There is nothing for me in the land of reality..." she said getting back up.  She went back to the place where she threw her crystals and the such and picked those up.  She then went back to the cave and slept in a deep sleep.

The next morning came without interuption. Mayumi had stayed up watching over Goldenscale the rest of the night, and was now cooking something to eat. Tieral had yet to wake while Alekai  had crled up on Goldenscale's back.

Goldenscale still slept, not wanting to face the harsh reality that awaited her.  But as she slept, nature began to plan.  They began to plan something that would help her to find that one thing that would give Tieral a longer life.  Though they would not tell her of the plan until after the Spring Festival, they still began to plan.

"Why do I feel so worthless right now," Mayumi asked herself as she brought  a small plate of cooked meat over to Goldenscale and sat down.

Goldenscale didn't stir even as the smell of the cooked meat wafted through her nose.  She was too deep in a sleep based on despair and hate.

"You alright Goldenscale," Tieral's voice asked in Goldenscale's dreams, "Something must be wrong to cause these feelings in you."

*Do not disturb the poor child.  She heard something last night that no child should ever hear, nor should any adult hear for that matter...* the willow said sorrowfully.

*I see. Is there anything I can do for her,* he asked, *I feel bad not being able to help her.*

*There is nothing anyone could do to make one's life longer.  Nature has its ways, but it isn't given out to anyone who doesn't need it.* she said.  *Poor child...*

*I'm guess she's going to out live all of us,* he said as he stired to wake up, *Then ther is nothing I can do, damn. Why is it always the impossible things that do this kind of thing?*
