"The magic used to create these crystals is beyond my knowledge. I know not their properties either," he said , "I've tried finding someone who could tell me these, but I have found no one."

"Then may I've able to see a crystal used to power these?  I may be able to distinguish all variables by observing it." she said.

"All I know is they derive their power from the aura of the person who gave the blood or venom. I figure the magic comes from the concept my facet was formed around. Sometimes, leupak are born with a concept that gives them unique migic that can't be reproduced  without the crystal itself," he said rubbing the back of his neck where the crystal was, "I did give a crystal to a magitian, but all they could tell me about is that is has the same properties as a normal miracrystal. I know that's not true though. Miracrystals can only be used as a power source, these give machines life."

Goldenscale took this information and covered her body with her wings.  She then cupped her hands and brought them to her chest, focusing on making a crystal similar to what was used.  She used the forest and her flower to be able to make it happen, giving the crystal different personalities and a sense of mystery around it.  Though she didn't know what the varani would act like or what it's thoughts would be, but she tried to make a crystal.  So show when she was finished a crystal had formed in her hands that had a golden shine to it so that others would be able to recognise that Goldensdcale had made it.  She opened her eyes and unveiled her wings, staring at the crystal that had appeared in her hands.  "What did I do?" she asked, putting the crystal on the ground and staring at it.

"It looks like you tried to make one of the crystals. It looks more like a vital equivalent, but there's no telling til we try it," he said placing the pocketed vrystal beside the one Goldenscale made showing the contrast in colors, "Why don't you assemble toe mechanisms, and we'll see if it works. I've tried mixing in vitae into miraplasm to make the crystals before, but never pur vitae energy."

"I honestly have no idea what I did, but this is the first time I've created something like this..." she said as she did what she was told.  She set the mechanism down gently.

Putting on a glove, Mossed picked up the crystal and placed it into the cavity in the vranius's chest. When he closed the panel, it took on an aura similar to Goldenscale's, something missing from the other varani in the cave. "It looks like it's working, but not moving," he said after the varanius just stood still for a few minutes, "I think your crystal gave it a soul, but not a mind."

"Let me fix that..." she said, taking the crystal out and walking outside to the willow tree.  There, she asked the willow tree how she was to give the crystal a mind.  *Put the crystal at the foot of my trunk. * the willow said.  Goldenscale did what she asked and the willow set about giving it a mind.  She had covered the crystal with her roots, soon uncovering it when she finished.  Goldenscale purred and went back to the cave.  "Here, try that." she said, handing him the crystal.

"You know, I could have just modified the mechanism to take two crystals," he said taking the crystal in his gloved hand and looking it over before placing it back in the varanius. One by one, the parts began moving as the aura returned to the varanius. Finally, the eyes came on with a golden glow similar to Goldenscale's aura.

Slowly, the varanius looked around, taking in its suroundings until it spotted Goldenscale.
 "Mother," it asked tilting its head to the side.

"Hello, little one." she said.  "So I was able to do it..." she added quietly.  She smiled.

"Throug you the energy of the spirit, and from nature the energy of the mind. ONe of a kind in every way. This deserves a completley custom skin to match," Mossed said with a smile before taking out several sheets os rubber and melting them in a sort of pot, "I'll have the skin made in a minute. Go ahead and name it? You made the crystal, you might as well name it too."

Looking over itself, it decided to not move so as to not get enything caught in the gears. "What is my name," it asked looking back up to Goldenscale.

"Your name is Alekai." she said, nuzzling the varani gently.

"Just as a heads up, I will have to turn Alekai off for a few minutes once the skin is finished so that I can apply it," Mossed said as he added dyes into the melted rubber, "It's safer for him that way."

Pressing back against Goldenscale, Alekai started to make a purr like hum as the glow from the crystal began to pulse like the beat ot a heart.

Golden scale began to purr softly as well.  "I'm going to have to turn you off for a couple minutes, alright?" she told the varanius.

"Will I be OK," Alekai asked, a hint of fear in his face.
