Bringing her wings around, Mayumi returned the hug. "Thank you, sometimes I lose myself in the past," she said betwen breaths.

"It is good to remember the past for it makes us who we are." Goldenscale said.

"I just wish I could have my little Chiei back, but eveytime I look at this figure I'm reminded that I'll never see her smile again," Mayumi said holding the wooden figure close, "It's all I have left  to remind me of her. Everything else was destroyed by humans."

She didn't know how to react to this either.  She had never met a human, so she didn't know what they were like.  But from what she said, they were evil creatures. 

Frost isnt back for hours

"It was my fault Chiei isn't here. should have listened to the warnings the human elders gave me. They tried to warn me that their people would see me as a threat and attack, but I didn't listen," Mayumi said, becoming short of breath as she continued to cry. "I'll always remember the day it happend. I had just returned home from hunting when I found my home destroyed, and everything in flames except this wood toy.."

"Humans no nothing about our sorrows.  They think we're the threats, they are the ones."  She paused.  "I'm so sorry about what happened..."

"They're just as much a threat to us as we are to them. I understand why they did what they did, but it doesn't make it any less painful. Humans are just as caring too, the elders made sure my little girl had a proper burial. I still visit sometimes," Mayumi said before putting the wood dragon back under the counter., "I really need to finish preparations if we want to get your leg reset before the others start arriving," she said try to calm herself before grabbing a few more herbs and adding them to the pot of water.

"At least she will be remembered..." she said.  She hadn't ever had to deal with mourning the loss of someone close to her, so she had no idea what she felt on that scale.  But she could try and comfort her.

in that moment of piece theres a shadow that flies across the room making a crash.

Goldenscale started to snarl as she limped over to the shadow.  She could never be too cautious when approaching and unknown object.

"Who or what is it," Mayumi asked grabbing a red bottle and pouring its contents into a syringe before walking over to Goldenscale.

Goldenscale continued to snarl at the creature, unable to distinguish if it's a friend or for.

it's Frost and he's been beaten to a pulp almost.

in comes an enforcer dragon, "Come on Frost i'm not through with you. The council paid me good to bring you in."

Goldenscale got between the other dragon and Frost.  "Come any closer and I'll hurt you." she snarled threatningly.
