Goldenscale stretches and wags her tail playfully.

Using his tail to hang onto the branch, Teral dropped down and kissed Goldenscale's forehead.

Goldenscale blushed and looked up at Tieral with a smile.  She then wagged her tail more.  "We should play a game."

"That sounds like a good idea. A little friendly competition make for great stress relief, especially after a day like today," he said letting go of the tree and landing beside Goldenscale, "What do you suggest?"

"A race." she said with a smile.

"To where," he asked reurning the smile, "So long as we all know where the place is, it'll be fair."

"To the edge of the forest and back." she said.

"I'm guessing Frost will be the judge. Incase we make it real close," he said, "Which edge though? This forest is just about squared off due to mountains and human settlements."

She roared and the trees made a race track.  "Ready...set..." she said, getting ready to run.

"Hey now. That not fair," he said jokingly as he prepaired, raising his wings and showing several scars along his side.

She saw his scars and remembered she had some of her own.  But she hid them with a spell.  "I was waiting for you to say go..." she said.

"Sorry... GO!" he yelled before taking off into the air quickly leaving the starting line.

Goldenscale laughed and soon caught up with him.  "You're going to have to run faster to be able to have a chance!" she yelled as she left him behind.

"Who said I was running," he said before flying up then diving, giving him enough speed to catch up with Goldenscale, "You're going to have to try harder than that to leave me behind."

Goldenscale jumped in the air and flew, using her speed to fly faster.  Every once and a while she would beat her wings, but she was going faster than a cheetah as it already was.  She chuckled.  No one has beaten her in a race in years, and she wasn't going to start now.
