I'm working on a Soapshroom entry at the moment... I'm wondering... what are soapshrooms really? I'm drawing them as mushrooms. Does the white fog around them have meaning and is it apart of what a soapshroom is?

Nightingale, you're right, soapshrooms are mushrooms :) The matter contained in them is used for producing soap. The foam / bubbles is a manifestation of mushroom vital activity, although it's an excretion and not a part of mushroom body itself.

Cuttlefish Ink Golem! It's a squid (if you couldn't tell ;D) ...based more off the "ink" part than the "cuttlefish", since that's the actual usable part of the material... though squid and cuttlefish are pretty similar so that works out too!

The glyphs used are mentioned on the Golem page on wikipedia (linked to on page 2), but as a quick ref, I'll link this image which contains what I used while doing mine. The top one is the relevant one to the golems, as the're 'alive' for the purposes of this.

Although you can probably take license and make up your own?

In the meantime, maybe I'll go back to trying to pick one of these things that strikes me with the same level of inspiration as the last one I did. The current one I'm trying to do is not doing it.

(And then promptly figured one out. Haha, this will be fun, even if I have nobody to bounce it's working stages off right now)

Wow... There are a ton of cool golems here. I think my favoites are Asthora's crow and Mint's squid. Maybe I'll try to make one later... Right now though, I need to work on more skins! XD
