Bit off-topic but yaaay! I managed to code my own 'explore map' minigame, after getting tired of trying to use existing JS libraries with tilemaps etc. It's simple and rather crappy (of course), especially compared to BK... I used to see the exploring as technically boring, but am now seriously envious of how these beasts don't slide and moonwalk around... but eh, this will have to suffice for my amateur no-budget game. xD

All the code is shared and here's a little tutorial (please excuse the unfinished website).

Now, I think I'll take a night off, buy some more stable space, and try breeding some nice gryphs.

edit: darnit, LadyChipmunk has an incredible bunch of studs available, and every single one of my GP3 ladies is on the Tundra. Of course. But at least one just found a Rainbow Jar, so that's nice. :)

Also, wtf, max vermillion again. I swear this Tundra is covered in more vermillion than snow. Who else wants some?

Tundra is amazing for vermillion! I think it's because it has such a limited pool of materials. (It's also pretty great for meat foods—it took me ages to figure out that the one food item you can get on Tundra actually provides all three meat foods.)

Also, I agree that the sprite is cute. 

I really wish I'd kept some folks on the tundra now. Also, game is looking adorable, Marans.

(totally unrelated but yay! Managed to code a trade system. What an absolute chore that was, but I'm getting better at this. And then did a custom coat system in one night... it's so refreshing when a task turns out easier than expected!)
