has the tundra become easier ever since the event ended? is it the thawing of the ice brought on by the onset of spring? all my pets that i left stranded on tundra islands are having a much easier time beating all the etelias they find, and every island has a green portal. i gladly accept this!

No, that's a coincidence

Not so much a yay as a laugh, but...

I just used the Fertility Shrine on one of my GP3 throdama, and... she's now pregnant by one of my males. (Not one I'd have picked for her, since he's not GP, but he does have nice genes.) I burst out laughing when I saw. Anyone else have that happen?

Marketplaces keep trading me Vermillion. I approve.

(Also, hoppers in Tundra are hilarious.)

... whoooo, it's been a while. Sorry for vanishing D: Totally missed the Egg Hunt and everything, aww. At least I parked dozens of beasts on the Tundra ages ago, so can explore that still.

Been super busy on my game. It was meant to be a tiny simple site, like a revival/tribute to Order of the Griffin, but as I've learned more PHP trickery, there's no reason not to keep adding heaps more complex features. xD Which does slow things down.

Still watching BE eagerly for updates. Must admit I'm slightly heartbroken to see they'll have genetic mutations for beast coats. This is a feature I just added last month - was rather difficult, so satisfying when done, and I'd never heard of another pet game with it, so I thought... I thought it would be a unique little feature...  ;_;

Fine then, BeastEon! Your version will probably be better anyway. I will continue finding other ways to torture my players with insanely complicated genetics. >:D  (does 120+ alleles sound enough already? without any markings yet...)

Oooh bring it on! I'm looking forward to it.

Please give me a way to have unlimited beasts and care for them all with a click? I miss the old Poney Vallee sometimes just so, so much.

Oh well. I will adopt soooo many baby gryphs and give them silly british sounding names. Swindon, attack!

Hmm, not sure about unlimited. Howrse is the only game I know who does that... it's insane, some users have 200,000+ horses. In total, nearly 14 million.  o__o Their database must be terrifying. No idea how they keep everything running so fast.

It must be expensive too! I just assume they started off with unlimited horses and didn't expect it to be a problem, in the early days of a small game. Then they didn't dare to upset players by forcing a limit later? Dunno, it seems a baffling decision.

Then again... they might be making money from it. People will still buy zillions of the newest Golden Apple horses, top skillers and other expensive collect-y things, knowing they don't have to make space first. Just £1 spent on a horse would more-than-cover the hosting of that single row of data in the DB.

... dunno, we'll see. I'm just a single idiot with a few pennies to spare, not a game company who knows how to optimise a database and let it scale-up infinitely. Perhaps I'll learn that stuff later xD  Or maybe a high limit of 5000 or sth would be enough to satisfy you? ... Does anyone on here even have 2000+ beasts? o.O

(now I'm reminiscing about OotG again. 20 flock spaces... ahh those were the days! Everyone fretting and squabbling over which of their beautiful griffs to throw out, to make room for an even more beautiful one...)

I had over 900 before I went on a stock purge.  Though I am creeping back up there.  I really need to pick ONE breeding project.
