So close, only needed 2 more genes (PC and SB), then I would have completed another of my Cockatrice breeds; and I could have used it to finish the last one too!!

-- If only it had gotten them :'( (Not to mention how I'm running out of room, so going to need to figure out who to throw away.)

Wish I had started out with this one first, since I could have used it for the others, would have made my breeding so much quicker:

1. Battlefield = Add Acute Eyesight, Quick Mind, Agile Paw, and Stench

2. 2nd Bet Expert = Add Poisonous Teeth and Steel Muscle

3. Actic Explorer = Add Acutre Eyesight, Quick Mind, and Elemental Resist

PS. Probably would have been racking it in by now, with all them Bet Experts too :'( Me and my premature planning.

What do you use bet experts for, apart from questing? Are they more likely to win on Arena? I've got a level 50 bet expert cocky for quests. Lovely diluted black colouring.

Just defeated a deadly-frost squad of lamel's with my "practice" squad. The one I threw together of an acid spit cockatrice, an ice spike/ice breath lykos, a magic horned unicorn with leaderships, and a tornado roc with electric strike. Deadly frost didn't activate, and I'm right next to the portal now. By tomorrow I'll probably be squished, but at least I'm making progress. :)

I have soooo many failed tornado rocs. But they have lightning strike so I can use them to craft charged sticks or sell them for a profit during Tundra. Should I neuter them, I wonder D:

Wait till the event to neuter then, so you can breed them if you need it.

lol, Cockatrices don't have deviancy, so can't really breed any by accident -- Also, I have no clue who is related to it right now, since I haven't been updating my spreadsheet (got tired of it), so ugh.

AS for Bet Expert, if you win in the arena, you get some silver, I think it's around 100-200 for lvl 50; meaning, you can get rich off this, if you have enough, and throw them in there daily.

Getting halfway towards a perfectly perfect homozygously gened attack beast is easy. It's the second half that takes forever.

That lykos looks... normal to me :P (also the reason I currently have forty hibernating eggs in my inventory. I should give more away, but that might irritate the people who are trying to make money from them...)

Seriously, though, this game bites sometimes. I get up, do my quests, lose some battles on the battlefield, get on with my day in a cloud of depression, put on my jammies, lose more battles and go to bed. Lather, rinse, repeat.

To think I was so happy that I got my stable level 5 blueprint at last. It's been a week since I've actually won a battle. No wait, I won one I think. Aaaaaaaaagh. Now Monues has taken the central zone, and she's as bad as Aelisk ever was. My tornado roc only has a 3-point lightning attack, whereas hers has 4.

My deadly-frost squad has only once had an instance of deadly frost activate. It was utterly glorious. I beat Wireath so hard :3 *please don't kill me*

Sell me your failures Wireath! I have lots of vermillion. I'd like a squad of four, please, with stench, acid spit and venomous skin. I'd like to try that complete confusion thing :)))) *he's probably gonna kill me, isn't he*

Anyways, you can't have Stench and Vemonous Skin together, I think you're refering to Poisonous Claws? -- Though Poison seems akward to me, as it scores 3 on the first turn, and 1 every other turn, better to have Counterstrike or something.

Lastly, haven't been breeding for stench, so can't help you there; though I'll be again later on, so I can seperate the lines, so I'll see about selling you some then.

PS. Sheilds won't help you much, with how I could just use Acid Spit Cockatrices to melt it / bypass it by having it arc.

I'm trying to breed more Acid Spit / Counterstrike cockatrices.

Unfortunately, most of my cockatrice flock is related in the past three generations, and they're the only ones with the genes that I want. The unrelated or farther-back-generationally cockatrices don't have the genetic pool that I want.

Few cockatrices are being sold on the pet trades and I've bred with a large chunk of the acid spit cockatrice studs on the breeding offers, with varying degrees of success.
