You keep a pet, level it up, research the genes, thinking you got the potential for a good breeder here... Then it turns out it has the same bad gene for both dominant AND recessive. *headdesk*

Kind of just something I find weird: My unicorn (typically a pet i think of as being an herbivore/plant eater) is running around eating/'capturing" pigs and rabbits on the islands... Yep. My unicorn skin is definitely going to have pointy canine teeth.

Okay, I have all the materials I need for a nice Ridinghall level one!
But I don't have a pet with the con high enough. So I reset most of my pets' stats for con, and set out to explore, explore and explore.
Not a single levelup building.

Trying to avoid inbreeding is making me dizzy. 2/3 of my pets are related to my starter, Zirconia which is understandable. But why are half of them related to Boneless, a pet I don't own and have never directly bred to???

I always seem to get scrolls for level 3 and 4 buildings, but the problem is, I never have the level 2 scroll! ;P Disappointing. I also can't seem to build up the materials. It's been taking forever.

Found a mutagen and used it on Dagon. His dominate horn changed from normal horn to fragile horn. Guess what? He also has fragile horn that is recessive.
Need more mutagens to hopefully correct this.

Last night, I was Exploring with my level 3 and 4 pets.
...
I got thrown off islands by level 6-10 monsters because there weren't any level 3-4 monsters. -.- And I hadn't even explored half the islands.
