Faelin trotted down the stairs. In the kitchen, she was only able to find Diet Cokes, which she knew better than to touch, and a loaf of bread. After some digging she found peanut butter and jelly, and voila! Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. She made a few and then carried them up to Chase. "How many do you want?" She asked, sitting down on the floor next to his bed.

Chase grinned, Chiron had already left and he was starving!

"I'll take them all! I could eat a Cyclops I'm so hungry!"

He took one of the PB&J's from her and started eating it, cautious of how it would settle in his still-churning stomach.

It made him feel better, but the nausea was still there.

"Did you want any?" He asked, realising he'd been kind of rude.

"No thanks, I'm fine. I'll eat later." Faelin waved away his concern.

Woops, super active!

Violet had been in shock still when Faelin and Chase left her. "Guys?" She slowly got up. Shacking she walked back to camp. It was in a rush, people running all over the place! Randomly she asked where Chase was, "over there." 

"Chase! Faelin! You guys okay?" She was now clutching something on a golden chain but still waiting for an answer. "I saw you kill the hydra, I tried to tell you guys that hydras have venom, especially that one's kind. It looked exactly like the one that trapped me and Lily. Sorry."

(What do you guys think of the prophecy I've added to the front? I think it will be given to Chase)

 

"Okay then, your loss!" Chase said and continued eating, he looked up as Violet entered.

"We figured the venom part out on our own, thanks to my nausea and burning flesh." He grinned, trying to make it look like a joke, but deep down the attack had really shaken him.

"Wait, who's Lily? I've never seen her here...."

Violet suddenly looked extremely crestfallen. "She is, was, my little sister. Remember the claw marks, and burned poision on my clothing when I came her? A hydra did it. It killed my little sister, she died trying to distract it from me..." She wiped tears away.

"Sorry, not a good memory at all. But that Hydra, did it have silver stripes like tears by it's eyes? If it did, then it's the same type of hydra that trapped me and Lily. They have the intelligence of a 15 year old, anle to trap, plan, and evade much like a demigod. Oh and Chase, their poision is 5 times stronger than normal hydra venom. It bit me, see?"

She lifted the edge off her shirt by the right side of her hip. 4 puncture mark scars slightly purple colored were there.

Chase went pale. "Oh, I'm sorry....." He thought for a moment.

"Does that mean I'll be nautious forever? Just like you have those scars?" He glanced at his still-bloodcovered shirt, there was only the slightest scar on his skin.

I could not live with being sick 24/7......

"I'm sorry." Faelin gave Violet a tight hug, "And if you're sick all the time, then I automatically win all of the competitions we had planned."Faelin laughed, and let go of Violet.

(The prophecy is FABULOUS!!! I absolutely love it.)

Violet shrugged. "No Chase, you'll feel like that for at most a couple of days. Then you'll just have scars." Now a somewhat cheerful smile danced on her lips. "No matter how sick I am Faelin, the moment I hit the water I'll be fine."

Her fingered something out of her pocket, it was about 4 inches long and shimmered silver. "Here Chase, you forgot your trophy. And here Faelin, it's that tooth we saw." She tossed Chase one of the hydra's claws and Faelin the tooth.

"Thats good!"

Chase grinned at Faelin."Even if I'm puking everywhere - I will always beat you!" 

He caught the thing Violet tossed to him, and he swallowed heavily as he realised what it was.

Why am I scared of it? It's just a claw!

Another thought wormed its way into his mind. 

The claw of the thing that almost killed me.... What if I'm scared of Hydra's forever? But I've been nearly killed by loads of things before! But I've never had to ask a friend to give me a toxin that could kill me.....

Maybe he wasn't scared of the actual Hydra, but what happened afterwards.

"Thanks Violet!" Faelin turned the tooth around in her hand, studying it.

"And, by the way, you can't prove that I'll always lost until I do so. So there." She laughed, "But, you guys are probably right."

Chase tucked the claw into his pocket, careful to position it so it didn't stick into him.

He cleared his throat. "I'm bored - how about we play a game? Or you guys could get me a bucket to puke in, since I'm not feeling too well!" His stomach heaved as he finished his sentance and his face turned slightly green. He clamped a hand over his mouth as he swallowed a mouthfull of bile.

Faelin felt her own stomach churn at the thought of puking. "I choose option two." Her own face felt green as she searched for a bucket.

"Here." She said, handing him one that she had found in a cupboard. 

 

"Thanks, you guys might want to leave." He sat up and took the bucket, his stomach churning. He took a deep breath, trying to get rid of his nausea.

His headache had returned, but it was more of a dull thudding than a sharp pain.
