Spark started wheezing as pain filled her chest. The cub slowly opened her eyes, wincing. Pain seared through her chest every time she took a breath, Spark whimpered softly in pain.

Nex quickly grabbed a herb for pain and placed it infront of Spark."Eat this, it'll help."

Shiku looked at the cub as she whimpered. He felt worried, she had had a hard landing.

River shuffled his paws nervously. If Spark died.... He shook his head and scolded himself for rash thinking. She'll be fine, he reassured himself.

Shiku felt a sudden realization. He didn't know if Dion and Aslan were okay! He looked guiltily at the medicine lion, he couldn't just leave.

"I don't wanna." Spark said weakly, pushing the herbs away ignoring the flame inside her chest.

Nex took a calming breath."Spark, if you want to get better, you need to have them."

Shiku grinned, this cub reminded him of himself when he had been young. The smile faded as he remembered his friends. "Not to interrupt, but, do you think it would be okay of me to leave?" He asked the lioness, hoping she wouldn't ask why he had chosen to stay just to leave.

"But they taste gross." Spark whined her voice cracking. Spark's eyes shot open with pain as something sharp jabbed her ribs from the inside, the cub growled in pain and fell down, breathing heavily.

Shiku gasped as the cub fell. Was she dead? He was afraid to get in the lionesses working space, so he just stared in horror at the cub, unable to do anything.

Nex rushed foreward and force-fed the cub herbs. She brushed her nose gently over the cubs side."I think her rib is broken."

Shiku gulped, "Wildebeast stampede," he blurted out.

Nex looked up with a puzzled expresion, then realisation dawned on her."Oh."

Shiku tried to hide his face again. He didn't want any more awkward questions.

Nex looked at the young male."You may go if you wish."
