Chase started shaking, then he thrashed and continued so. He yelled out and struggled more....

Rory jumped as she heard something fall to the floor. She spun around and ran down the stairs, only to find that 'something' was  Chase. He was pulling at his hair and screaming silently. Rory mentally erased what she'd thought about him being calm. She rushed over to wake him up, not only to stop him terrifying her even more, but to make sure he wouldn't hurt himself. He was shaking, and dangerously close to the fire. 

"Chase, wake up!!" 

Rory grabbed his shoulder, but he was deeply asleep. Tears gathered at his eyes. 

"CHASE!!!"

has soon has Lavender finished her homework, she when to her bed and fell asleep. Has soon has she did, her dreams where filled with death, sorrow, and pain. her life had be turned upside down has she watched her mother and father's souls being sucked out by dementors. A terrible thing had happned to the word. As she watched everything she loved being torn away from her - Swooper, Eagleflame, Hogwarts, family, friends - the world zoomed out untill all she could see was the Earth floating along with the stars, she saw that it was on fire. And has she watched the Earth burn into ashes and disapper forever, she saw a snakelike face with gleaming red eyes and a human body rise from the Earth. It was lafing an evil cackle with it's forked tounge curled out and pointy fangs dripping with saliva, and it's long, bony arms and fingers with fingernails like claws in a possition that looked like it was flexing it's arms, but without making fists. It cackled it's evil cackle, then it looked at Lavender with eyes open, then it put it's right hand down, and when it rose back up, it had a wand that looked like a bone, and it pointed it at Lavender and  Screemed " Avanda Kadabra!"  and just has it said it, Lavender picked up her wand and screemed back "  Protego!" The two curses met eachother, but lavender's was stronger, and the snake-human's bounced back, flying though the air, hitting the creature. It withered in pain for a few seconds, then it fell down to the remaints of the Earth, and as soon has the snake-face man disappered, the Earth was back in shape. It's full, round shape. Lavender smiled has she looked at it.

When she awoke, she thought about the dream, wondering what it ment...

Chase struggled to pull himself out of his dream, he shook and thrashed. He tried to bring his conscious back but it wouldn't work, he was stuck, looking at his dead mom.....

Rory didnt know what else to do, and she didn't want to wake anyone up, so she slapped Chase across the face.

"Snap out of it!!!"

And to Rory's relief, he started awake.

Chase's eyes snapped open, Rory had her face above his, He started shaking."W-what happened?" He said quietly....

"Well, you kind of just gave me a freaking heart attack!!! But, are you ok? It looked like you were not having a great dream."

Chase looked away...

Rory knew nightmares weren't easy to talk about, and she probably wouldn't tell him hers either. 

"Ok. Whatever, but..."

Rory wanted to comfort him, but she didn't now how to.

"I'm sorry." Rory sat down next to him, but his face was blank.

"do you need a hug?"

Chase looked at her with a look of horror."Surely you're joking??!!"

"What??!!! Hugs usually help, dont they??!!"

Chase shrugged."I dunno....." He looked into the fire, the flames reflecting in his eyes...

Rory took a deep breath and squeezed him around his shoulders.

"better?"

Chase blushed."Uh..." He did feel better but he didn't want to admit it..

Rory held on for at least a full minute, then patted him on the head. 

"Get some good sleep now. Christmas holidays tomorrow. It'll be hard to learn how to not have homework any more."

and Rory walked back to her dorm, yawning and rubbing her face to try hide her blush.
