"No nothing so far, great buisness though." I said as the coins in the bag clincked.

"So you noticed it too?" She said, appearing from within a crowd of people. At least if Frost noticed it as well, then she knew she wasn't just going insane. She just couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong about this place.

"The wood here. Its rusting as if it was metal. The people seem distant." I say looking at both of them.

I took a closer look around, "Even if this town isn't what it seems, that doesn't make it a threat." I said as my eye dots turned to slits because I was looking around so thouroughly

"Also. Did any of you notices the metal railing?" I ask. I slowly kick it not to make a loud sound. "It is all over the place."

I don't replie, "Somethings are needed to protect the inocant." I mutter to myself.

"Also there's no guards or authority figures within this town. As big as it is you would think there was someone guarding them." I say looking at a building that resembled a guard house but it was empty.

"Nothing about this place adds up. Even in small towns there would be police, some figure of authority, but I haven't seen anything. As bad as I hate to, I'd almost say we should get out of here. We may have a better chance in the desert." The rusting wood, the metal railing, no one to enforce law. She had never seen a place like this, and she hoped she never would again. It was all unsettling to say the least. Yet, for some reason, Terra seemed almost oblivious, as if nothing was wrong. Perhaps this was normal for this world, but they wouldn't know unless they left here and found another town.

I look over to see an old man standing in the road holding up a wooden sign that read "the eand is near." the olf man was yelling out "Soon the saviors will come! and they shall rescue us from the great demon lord! But before that time comes, let us prepare!" the crowd seemed to be amused with his insanity, and they only laughed and jeered as he preached his belifes. "Get a life you old geezer!" a man jeered as the crowd laughed in return.

I walked up to the old man through the crowd as they watched me, "THat lady is crazy, I wouldn't be seen dead talking with that insane old man." I heard someone whisper. I looked at the short old man, handed him a good amount of the coines I had and saked him "Please, will you tell me about these saviors and this demon lord?"

The old man looked at me and smiled largely, "Now this young lady has some sense!" he bellowed as the crowd walked away, their once laughter now whispers of interest. Me and the old man sat down and he told me his name was Jackson, "It's nice to meet you Jackson." I said "Oh, no really the pleasure's all mie, it's good to see such bright young folks these days. Not like in the old days." he said.

I approach them and sit off ti the side. I listen carfully.

"Now so the legand goes." Jackson began. "The evil lord, Luciffer will soon come to take over our town, and after that the entire earth." he said, "But before he does, they say that there will be 5 hero's that stand up to him, and possibley defeat him."

I look at Jackson questioningly, "What do you mean....possibley?" I ask.

"Well, the Luciffer will have an army, and he will give them 7 tests, if they prove them selves worthy of defeating him, then they shall get to face him."

"I see." I said, "Well I believe you." I said as I stood up and began to walk away.

"You mean hades or the lord of death?" I ask thinking at first a little unreasonable.

"That'd be right. He's the most cruel and heartless person I've ever heard of." Jackson said.

"Sigh so what's the plan?" I look to the others.

"I don't know about you guys, but I'm going do all I can for this town." I said, my voice light with inpiration. "And I'm going to help them no matter what." I said as my hands curled into fists, and I walked off.
