Shade looked at the setting sun. Out on the tundra, it felt as if the shadows were limited. Shade sighed and disappeared into the closest shadow, thinking about Micheal and her tribe.

Silver glared at the snow pile she created. She ran and lept into it. Silver didn't know why she did it, but it calmed her. She looked at the sky, sensing the full moon.

Location: Moonlit Cave

Name: Blue

I sighed and looked around the empty cavern. The rest of my tribe was at our camp, the Heart of Ice. I was out hunting and had somehow found myself in the Moonlit Cave, again. I tried creating a mini snowstorm in front of my nose. Doing such small ones was hard, though and a thin lightning bolt zipped down, bigger than I wanted. At the sharp sound it made as it struck the ice, there was a noise that sounded like a pup's yelp. I spun around, "Who's there?" I demanded. My blazing eyes shot to the only hiding place in the cave, a large chunk of ice. My paws steps echoed along the ground and my spikes started flickering, a growl rumbled from my throat.

(OOC: I'm making a second character, this pup)

Shade:

Shade loved shadow jumping. It was basically jumping in the shadows. It gave her this feeling, that she could catch anyone in an act. Shade knew her power wasn't a very powerful one for a tundra Lykos, but she should make the best of it.

Silver:

As the full moon rose, Silver's eyes began to change color. Her yellow eyes symbolized her power. Silver howled to the moon, speeding around the tundra with her super speed. Silver was a very solitary Lykos, but she was a very good leader nonetheless.

Location: Moonlit Cave

Name: Crimson

The little pup shivered as he heard the foot steps of a huge beast approching him. A faint blue glow came from it's direction. He was freezing and didn't have the strength to move. Crimson thought to himself in a slurred way, I hope it's quick... He soon found himself weaving in and out of consciousness. Above him, a voiced boomed, "A pup? Oh, poor thing! I've got to save it, maybe the healer can help." Crimson wanted to say, 'I just need warmth', but he suddenly felt his scruff being squeezed and his legs rising off the ground. This was too much for his body and a sigh escaped him as he surrendered to blackness.

Name: Blue

"No!" I yelped as the pup's little body fell limp. He would never survive the long walk back to camp. I whimpered, wishing I could create fire, instead of snowstorms. I curled around the little creature, knowing that my body warmth wasn't enough to keep him alive. At the speed of light, an idea popped into my head. It would be dangerous for me, but it might save the pup. I got up, resolved, gave the scrap of fur a quick lick, and hurried out of the cave.

Airmed sighed. The voices were louder than usual today, but her neverending patience could handle it. She was a bit farther from the camp than usual, and it was getting quite cold as night fell. But Airmed needed to collect fresh herbs for her store. The loneliness was a stab to her heart, as usual.

Location: Moonlit Cave

Name: Blue

I wanted to howl to the sky in happyness, but there was no time. I had found a peice of wood right outside the cave. I grabbed it with my powerful jaws and dragged it about a tail-length away from the unconscious pup. My neck fur fluffed up a bit and I backed away from the log. Then, concentrating hard, I caused a blue bolt of electricity to hit it and, as I had thought it would, the wood caught fire. Settling down a good distance from the flickering flames, I watched warily.

Alistair sighed, watching his breath fog and rise into the air from where he sat near the entrance to the Moon Tribe's camp. He liked watching the night sky, though nights were cold on the tundra, even for a thickly pelted lykos like himself. He also liked to think about his sister here, under the darkness she adored. But his Tribe always came first.

Shade:

Shade was shadow jumping when she saw Silver standing in the middle of the tundra with her fur standing on end. Shade jumped a few shadows further when she realized that Silver was sensing something.

Silver:

Silver ran back to camp, but stopped when she picked up a scent. She narrowed her eyes. It smelled strange. Silver decided to ignore it when her nose automatically zeroed in on the scent. Her ears shot up.

Beastlords, she growled. Her ears could easily pick up what they were saying.

"Come on! Let's go find some Lykos eggs! Maybe while we're out here, we can find the runaways."

Silver's eyes widened. I have to warn the tribes!

Airmed:

 I had mostly ignored the whispers from the ghosts. They usually just liked to try and annoy me. But... A splitting pain in my head broke my concentration. I sighed. What do you want? I asked, the slightest bit irritated. The whispers grew louder, more urgent.

 "Beastlords?!" I yelped, beginning to panic. I dropped my herbs. I have to warn Shade! I ran towards home as fast as I could. The whispers ceased, wanting to know what I would do. I ran toward the nearest camp, the Moon Tribe's. All the tribes had to know. Every hair on my pelt stood on end, as did my spikes.

Alistair:

 I waited by the camp's entrance for Silver, to give her the daily report. I pricked my ears when I heard pawsteps. A sudden shift in the direction of the wind brought Airmed's scent to fill my nostrils instead. My sister flew into the camp, spikes bristling and eyes wild. She skidded to a stop and stared at me. She breathlessy barked one word that chilled my blood: "Beastlords." And then she was gone. My eyes widened in horror.

Shade:

As Shade ran back to camp, she noticed Airmed running towards her. She stepped out of the shadows.

"Beastlords!" She gasped, panting. Shade nodded.

"I know," she replied. "Silver sensed something and warned me. She heading towards the Ice tribe." Shade paused. "They are very ambitious Beastlords. They want their lykoses back."

Silver:

Silver ran until she skidded across the corner of the Ice tribe. She ran in as the warriors looked at her sudden presense.

"Beastlords!" Silver said. "They came for hibernating lykoses, but they also want to hunt us down."

Airmed:

 "Good, I already warned the Moon Tribe." I nodded to Shade, panting. "What do you want us to do about it? The voices say these Beastlords are different than any others before them. They won't rest until they have us... If we fight, I can enlist some extra help." I looked at Shade, studying her expression.

Alistair:

 I shook myself, knowing I had to do something. I wasn't worried about Silver. She could take care of herself. But... The warriors had to know. I looked around frantically, looking for an experienced, trusted warrior. I would only tell a few at a time until Silver arrives.

Location: Moonlit Cave

Name: Crimson

I groaned as I felt warmness spread into my limbs. Somehow, the adult lykos must've saved me. I tried getting up and struggled to my feet. A voice came excitedly from my right, "You're alive! Are you well enough to come to my camp?" I looked at her, she was pure white, but the tips of her spikes glowed slightly blue, "Thanks, f-for savin' me. I can probably hold out for a bit..." I tottered on my feet. The beast looked me up and down and sighed, "I'll take you to the nearest camp, the Night tribe's place." I squeaked as she picked me up in her jaws, "Okay! But I can walk!" I felt the rumble of a laugh in her mouth as she started out of the cave.

Name: Blue

The little lykos was a feirce thing, he would be a good asset to the tribe. I continued walking, the path to the Night tribe's camp was memorized so my mind wandered and I didn't pay attention to the surroundings. Suddenly, I heard a shout from behind me and turned my head sharply towards it. This movement caused the sleeping dart, aimed at my head, to hit the pup in my jaws. He flopped down, unconscious again. Beastlords! I thought desperately. Ducking behind a snowdrift I congured a snowstorm, rapidly firing lightning, on the group of humans. Then, I continued my sprint to the Night tribe's camp, holding my head high so the limp pup in my jaws wouldn't slow me down.

Airmed:

 My head snapped up as I saw a flash of blue. Blue lightning.... That could only mean one thing. Blue, the Ice Tribe's leader. I could tell by the fierceness and disorganization of the snowstorm, that she was in trouble. My blood ran cold as I realized what that could mean. "Shade, the Beastlords have found Blue! Let's go!" I bolted, feeling the wind whip my face. Will you help us, oh Ancient Ones? I asked the spirits around me. Their power flooded into my veins, and I ran much faster than an ordinary lykos. I could feel their cold pelts, feel their pawsteps beside mine. I felt the icy breath of my ancestors, the first tundra lykoses, on my spikes, but heard nothing. I saw through the eyes of many generations of lykoses. Finally, the whispers grew deafeneing and surrounded me, and then eased to barely audible. Ahead, I saw Blue, standing calm in the midst of the storm. I saw the spirit of Cobalt supporting her. He looked so fiercely proud of his daughter. Beside her, I spotted a small pup. I knew he was Cursed, but he was a defenseless pup all the same. I skidded to a stop. "Blue!" 

Name: Blue

Through the wild storm I'd created, I noticed a lykos in the distance. As I got closer I noticed that it was Airmed, the healer from the Night tribe, "There's beastlords!" I tried to warn her, but, with the pup in my mouth, it sounded more like, "Dere's east-orks!" I ran closer and set the pup at her feet, "He got hit by a sleeping dart, can you heal him? I'm going to keep distracting these annoying humans." Growling, I turned back to the storm and closed my eyes, consentrating made the storms bigger, but still controlable.

Shade:

I looked warily at my surroundings. The Beastlords were still hunting. I blended into the shadows as I followed their scent.

Silver:

I ran back to the Moon Tribe's camp. Alistair glanced at me.

"Good, you're here," he said.

"We can't let the Beastlords get to us," I said. "For Shade, it's easy. But my power only works during the full moon, so that will be hard."
