I absolutely adore the Famine and Death Kami. Fantastic artwork, indeed!

Although I feel like I'm the only one who seems this entire event is pretty much impossible unless you're one of the top players on here. :/

All of these are really hard. Kinda sucks that I have been playing a little over a month and I cant do any of them. A little bummed I wont be getting one of these pets, especially upset about the cockatrice thing...not everyone breeds cockatrice

Also, I agree that it is impossible unless you are one of the top players. Not a good call in my opinion. Really it isn't fair.

I'm not the biggest fan of cockatrice, so I don't breed them. As for the others, my pets aren't good enough to hold a battlefield for 10 hours. I also get the feeling that Kami won't be able to be bred, so they are going to stay exclusive to those who won them unless they're sold -- which will be a TON of silver.

Me neither! I breed Unicorns and Symurgh! I didn't think, when I started that I would need to breed every beast to be able to participate in events like this. It makes me unhappy.

I dont even have a squad! much less know anything about the battlefield. sigh

Hopefully the next event will be a little easier... although I think I'll always be bummed I missed out on Famine and Death Kami

I don't know I may give up the game after this. It is clearly meant for older players. I REALLY don't think it was a good call at all. Admins seem to be showing favoritism for the older players and top players. It is b.s.

Famine should not be too hard. I literally am almost done with all the food sacrifices and it's only day two (I started with no food). It's super easy to get them in explore.

And just because you can't actually get a kami doesn't mean you can't be able to make a massive profit!! For instance if you are exploring and you find an essence- Those things are going for 200k starting bid in the item auctions!!! That's a lot! Also you can make money by breeding pets and selling them for a little over pound asking price (1.5k) as there are no cheap pets in the sales now. People are buying them up like mad to make sacrifices!!!

Just because you can't get the Kamis doesn't mean you can't prepare for the next event by making mad money now! I'm sure most of the rich people are going to go into debt by trying to get the Kamis. It will make a more even playing field.

In a way, yes, it does favor players who know what they are doing and have been around and have the resources... but some of us have been around for a year. I joined the first day- and I have terrible squads. You get by and find your niche. I got money breeding two symurghs when they first came out (gifts from people)

Events are not going to be the only part of the game- Angel even said so. It is just something fun to start out since the site -just- opened to the public! New players can still do a lot. And like I said; you guys can make LOTS of money selling explore items and pets right now. I just sold a bunch of food for LOTS more than it should have gone for normally. Take advantage of the situation- it's how you approach it. It really isn't all bad for newbies when you think about it like that.

The food part is easy, sure. I have completed that part. And then I read the part about the Crimson Tree. Thats what made me say ''f*** this'' because no one that is fairly new to this game can do any of that. It's really annoying.

i did not meant if we can get multiple of the pets, I mean can we pick to finish one objective/task only for one specific Kani?

PuzzleArai- Then sell the food. You can make lots of money doing it as I said. Try to see it in a positive light, we aren't always going to be able to get what we'd like. I didn't think I could hold the ancient battlefield. But people have been SUPER nice and let me hold it (we post our times in the forums). I even got a PM asking when I would be done because they didn't want to bump me. I didn't have to fight anyone to get there or even to hold it.

I know I won't be able to get war- I can't fight 20 battles and win! And I don't have the cockatrice necessary to get the vials either. But I can easily collect food, and with help from friends I've made (and ones I've just made!) hold the crimson tree.

The hardest part for ALL of us is going to be the essences as they are rare for EVERYONE regardless of how long you have been playing. If you find oen of those suckers as a newbie and sell it. You can make LOTS of  money. If you find a lot you may be able to make enough to buy a Kami that someone is willing to part with (or save up lots of the next event).

No matter when you join a game you are going to feel foreign and it is going to be hard to get established. It took a lot of grunt work and time for me to get where I am- and there are people much newer than me doing loads better! It's about your effort and attitude towards the game. Persistence is what will really help you. This event is not meant to favor or punish new people. We WANT new people to join since it just started.

In a way this helps even the playing field. 300 vermillion to sacrifice is A LOT! That is really going to set people back! As would sacrificing 30 pets, and buying all those blueprints! It isn't going to be cheap for the old people... We're going to be broke after it... I know I will.

What is the crimson tree and ancient battlefield, how do you access them and control them? Could someone PM me the answers?

Tried it looks like its gonna take awhile I explored with 20 of my pets still not one owell I guess ill try next event :-) good luck everyone

@abell45 - I've explored non-stop the since it started. I've only found one essence... Yep... But when I find them... I'm going to be so happy :D
